Hey guys im new to the forum first post but im hoping there will be some help... ive been braking to many belts.... i put a new secondary on and that defintly helped stm stage 3 tuner.... but i have a question about the primary... one side of it constantly has surfacr rust... the inside one no matter what... and while idling how much space should there be between the primary clutch sufaces and the belt... there seems to be alot of space... hooks up.ans everything ok.... top speed doesnt seem to be as high as normal.... about 60 .. maybe 65 mph... also how hard are u allowed to beat on these things like 20 min of moderatly hard riding and a belt.will go... this does t seem right.... thinkig of switching to a stm primary aswell if something is wrong with mine... any help would be greatly appreciated

That seems really expensive for the bag. Does anyone have any other ideas?

Hey all... looking for some advice. Came across an 02 700 and the owner says that it starts easy and runs strong but there are the following problems with it...

1) Battery is not being charged while the bike is running so after you ride it for so long you have to manually charge the battery.

2) The display / cluster is not working correctly.

3) It is staying in AWD.

My question... Is it likely that all of the problems are related to something like a bad voltage regulator / rectifier or the ignition system problems these units had?

Or is it more likely a front diff problem (busted cage) causing the AWD to stay on, a hall sensor causing the display issues?

I think the current owner said when the display issues started is when the AWD started acting up and the winch stopped working on it.

Hey everybody. New to can am and loving it so far. Just bought my first one. A 2008 outlander 800. Thing is full of power and rides like a dream. Looking forward to all the useful help in here.

I'm new to can am. Have never strayed from Yamaha but I must say I'm blown away by the power this 800 has. Any way I'm looking for a snow plow for my 2008 outlander 800. What does everyone recommend for the bike. Looking for good quality but do not really need the absolute best. Thanks

Hello everyone, newbie to the forum. I have been looking at several brands for my first side by side, and decided on the Defender Max HD10. Sales guy at my local dealer told me that they only come with power steering (DPS) in 2018. This doesn?t match with anything I have read here or even on the Can-Am website. Any insight would Be appreciated. I am having a hard time finding any 2017?s. Every place I call says they just sold their last one.

That said, what would be a fair out the door price on a 2018 Defender Max HD10 (if they make one) or a Defender Max DPS HD10?

Hi all,
I just picked up a 2014 570 with 600 miles on it. It looks we'll maintained and since all the add ons (front and rear bumpers, winch, led bar and heated grips) are all Polaris, I'm guessing the work was done by a dealer.

Here are my questions; what kind of drain do the heated grips place on the battery? Safe to have on most of the time?

I have a battery tender with a plug I can wire to battery, but with it's placement, is there somewhere else?

Lastly, this breather or drain plug struck me as in an odd location, is it correct (right rear wheel well)? See picture

Hi all. Newbie here. I have just bought a 2004-5 predator 500 needing some love. The first on the list is the centre links have a lot of play, rod ends seem fine. New links are £75 each 🤔Which is out of the question so I have ordered 4x rose joints 2 male and 2 female. I'm not sure if this is even going to work but I don't see why not. Has anyone come up with any other solution for these centre links ? Seems a stupid setup to me
