Hey everyone I just registered for the forum, never owned any polaris product until this past Xmas when my girlfriend's father gave me his old 2007 sportsman 450 as a present since he has a 2012 and didn't need two wheelers. Name is Keith live in middle of nowhere N.Y. decided to join the forum since I've been working on this quad all summer trying to get it fixed and running right, don't really want or have the money to pay a dealer to fix it so it's been a learning process from the start. Hoping to learn a few things on here

I have a 2014 outlander 650xt that I just bought last week. I went for my firstly g drive yesterday on it and after about an hour or hour and a half of driving it started losing power really bad. If I hit the gas hard it would just bog and almost die. If I hit it easy I could go but only up to about 30 or 40 mph. And the more I went the worse it got. If I stopped for a bit it would work better again for a few miles. It acts like it's not getting fuel. I am thinking the fuel pump is going. Anyone else ever has this issue
Mikuni carb rebuild question. Polaris sportsman 700. The pilot jet that cam out was a 47.5 without air holes. The one the polaris dealer gave me is a 45 with air holes on the side. Any one have comments on this?

Posting for a friend, went riding and the bike turned off and would not restart. His buddy talked him into a complete rebuild of the engine. So now the new engine is back in the bike and now to find the original problem of why it shut off on him and wont restart. I have cleaned the fuse panel and unwrapped most of the wire loom to find a few broken wires and some hacking that has gone on in the past for winch and amp speakers and lights. I have repaired all I could see wrong even went out and bought a ecu, coil and stator from a exact year and size part out and still nothing. I have downloaded some of the manual on what it takes to start the bike and have put power to what needs it according to the manual and still nothing. Need help. Sorry for the long explanation.
Rebuilding from ground.home much HP does it have stock, how much would I gain by boring it out.80,or is this to much??thanks
Me again, I've been searching for portable air compressor threads , and didn't find much of what brand / model you guys are equipped with . I'm not brand loyal and doesn't have to be the fanciest from the market. I know old american saying " you get what you pay " / but also I'm not looking to spend hundred on pump that I might use once a year or once a 5 year. Looking for something that will fit in a front storage , and will not fall apart after first jump. So, what you have in your storage for portable air pump, what to stay away from, good and bad reviews , all are welcome... pictures friendly post [just have a mercy] :nerd
Also an idea of using
CO2 bottles, if anyone have used them, please share your experience... what kit from where, and again reviews are always welcome ;-)
thanks in advance.

The penultimate round of the 2017 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) series, presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship, traveled to St. Clairsville, Ohio this weekend for the 17th annual Polaris Ace Powerline Park GNCC. The day started off with overcast skies, but quickly warmed up to a great day of racing where WFR/Yamaha/Maxxis/Fly Racing’s Walker Fowler took his 11th overall victory of the year breaking the record for most wins in a single season.
