Good morning,
While doing skid plates, I ran across this little hose at the bottom of the engine. Just hanging there. Is this normal? Also, zoom in closely...there's a drop of antifreeze at the bottom of it. And, there were a few drops on the inside of the skid plate. I don't know if this was something as a result of dealer setup or not, but I'm curious.

I got a 18 1000 and a 17 850 yesterday. I only drove each briefly but I was on the 1000 first. Then as soon as I got on the 850 I instantly noticed the power steering was easier/lighter on the 1000. Don’t get me wrong the 850 can be steered with 2 fingers but you could just “feel it” more. I much preferred the 850. The 1000 almost seemed to easy to steer like I was totally disconnected from the ground. I used to own A 2010 850xp with power steering so I have drove one before. I was wondering if it’s different because one is a 17 and one is a 18 or is it cause ones a 1000 and ones an 850? I then had my wife drove my 1000 and I didn’t tell her I thought the steering was different and she said something right away too. Sorry for the long post just wondering why they would be different? I also noticed the 1000 has disc brakes on all 4 tires and the 850 has 3. There is only 1 on the rear?

Hello everyone I'm new to this stuff so I'm probably asking a question that's already been asked and discussed. I have 2 2017 outlander 450dps and want to know how big of tire I can put on them without a lift or clutching issues. We ride mostly trails but I like to play in the mud and deep snow also so I was thinking of 27-11-12 zillas.

I purchased a 2018 Polaris Outlaw 110 for my sons birthday. The reason I bought it was so I could adjust the speed from 15 mph to 29 mph as he got more experienced at riding. I took it out for a spin and it went pretty fast. I looked under the seat for the jumper wire under the rubber boot next to the battery and there isn't one there. I called the dealer and they don't know anything about it. They looked at one in the showroom and could't find it either. I looked at the parts list for the 2018 and the jumper wire is shown for that model. Can anyone tell me where the jumper wire is at on the 2018s? There is no rubber boot anywhere under the seat. Did Polaris remove the speed limiter under the seat for the 18s? Mine has a throttle limiter. Thanks!

I removed my skid plate tonight and found this part inside my 2018 XP 1000 Hunter Edition. Anybody know what it is/where it goes? I searched but couldn't find the end it would fit.

Hey guys, I bought a 2015 Outlander 800 and it came with the rad relocate kit already installed. I think it's unnecessary for me and would really rather have my front rack space. Im wondering what I would need to do this? I'm assuming stock length hoses which I unfortunately don't have, is there somewhere I can find to buy everything I would need? New to these bikes and couldn't seem to find anything online about it. Thanks

Also would the stock hoses from a 2013 1000 work?

Just picked up a new to me 2007 Sportsman 800 on Friday. Took it for a shake down run this weekend, and after 40 trouble free miles decided to drain all fluids/replace all filters because it didn't need anything specific repaired (for now). Got everything I needed to tear into it this afternoon...anddddd that's where the fun starts.

The guy I bought it from claimed to be a Polaris mechanic. Started off with the front diff, drain plug was torqued on well above spec and metal was soft. Penetrating oil didn't help, and needless to say, it stripped. Not a problem, easy out took care of it, but drilling through the plug popped the magnet off and it was stuck to the inside of the differential. Took forever, but using my pinky finger and my girlfriend's hair clip I was able to wedge the magnet out. Now, time to order a nice new $30 drain plug and flush the fluid 1-2x to ensure all of the metal pieces are 100% out of the differential.

PS The oil filter was WAY over torqued as well. Can't wait to tackle the trans and rear diff tomorrow :|

Thank you all in advanced. I'm a little familiar with small engines go carts and mini bikes. I picked up a 2001 scrambler 500 2x4 about a month ago. Guy said it just needed fuel line and he let it sit. Put power to the battery cables and it turned over so I gave him $300 and loaded it into the truck. Get home take take the carb apart and it's bone dry with no varnish..sweet. Clean it all anyway put it back together, new fuel line, new fuel pump, which I tested and its pumping. Getting spark with new plug. I adjusted valves to .006 as they were a little loose and make sure it was timed correct like 50 times. Also made sure the little connect on the throttle were not touching. Starter has been taken apart and cleaned along with a new starting solenoid. I got it to fire once..sounded great let it idle for about a min. Tried again and finally got it a second time. 2 days later..nothing. Checked valves again and timing all look good, fuel and spark still there. Can't get it to fire and it's drivin me nuts! Please help! Lol and sorry for the long first post!
