2018 Polaris Outlaw 110 vs. Honda TRX90X

While the full sized ATVs and UTVs get most of the attention, we thought we’d look at how a couple of Youth ATVs compare – the 2018 Polaris Outlaw 110 and Honda TRX90X.

We always seem to be excited about the newest ATVs each season. There is a rush to learn about which brand will have the highest horsepower, or the latest whiz-bang feature. What gets lost in the shuffle are the Youth ATVs. The Youth models, while lacking in the latest features or higher horsepower numbers, do hold one thing over the majority of full-sized ATVs on the market – they sell. In fact, they often sell out all of the production run every year. Granted that production run is smaller for sure. Still, the manufacturers have to love a machine that requires little development, yet promises to continue to have solid sales numbers. Let’s see how two popular models, the Honda TRX90X and the Polaris Outlaw 110, compare by the numbers.

Custom Audio 17′ Sportsman 1000

Howdy,

I have a buddy who is specialized in motorcycle audio so I gave him the bike and let him come up with something that wasn't going to require speakers to stick out. It is still a work in progress but I will post the pictures we have so far.

Going with Rockford's 8 inch Punch Marine in the front and 6.5's in the back.

Transmission: ’05 Magnum 330 4×4

Hi everyone,

Son's Magnum stopped moving in 2x4 mode, and will only go forward in 4x4 mode (via the front axle). He said it was making "a weird noise" prior to the problem. Have tracked issue to transmission. Runs well, so we'll be taking it out to repair, but thought if anyone has a very good used unit it would be easier to just replace the whole thing.

Anyone have a good one that will be a replacement fit for us?

Or, good internal parts, in case we need 'em?

Please reply here, or send me a PM. We're near Billings, MT

Thanks!
Walt

Spark-- Good Spark

When you turn key over you hear the pump prime, when you turn the key off you hear the wrrrr click click click click.

Ive pulled the codes and i get 12,41,22,45,47,51,61.

Any advise or help would be greatly appreciated.

New 2018 Can-Am Maverick Models Arrive to Tackle Trails, Climb Rocks

Whether you’re looking for casual trail riding, gnarly rock climbing or anything in between, the 2018 Can-Am Maverick lineup can deliver.

Can-Am is introducing two all-new models to the lineup for 2018: the Can-Am Maverick Trail and the Maverick X3 X rc Turbo. While the Trail is a meant for nimble handling through tight terrain, the X3 X rc is all about climbing the rocks.

The Trail is a 50-inch wide side-by-side looking to offer a compact feeling out on the trail. Can-Am says that this machine isn’t just a shrunk-down Maverick X3 or up-sized Outlander, but rather a right-sized machine for hitting the trails.

Back In The Game…Another 2008

This fall I purchased a used 2008 Sportsman 500 HO. Carb model. I plan to use it pretty much exclusively for hunting. This one I found was well equipped for my needs. It was very well maintained by the original owner. He never touched it. Took to the dealer for everything. The seller could not even tell me if it was a single or a twin engine.

I paid $3800 Canadian. Which is about 2850 US dollars. It has 624 hours on it, and about 4,000 miles. I think I did alright. I could get a new 570 I think it is, last years model for about $5,500 Canadian. However I would guess there is about $1,000 Canadian in extras on mine, maybe even more that I would have to add to the price of a new one.

Heated hand & Thumb grips
Winch
Rear Trunk
Gun Scabbard
Auxiliary fuel tank
LED Lighting
Extra Storage bags for beer :)
Front Rack rail

I went all over the ATV this week and can find little to nothing that it needs. I did drop the transmission fluid. It was a little dark. Topped up brake fluid a tiny amount. Decided to
put in a new spark plug. I'll grease it and I'm done.

I had a 2008 800 a few years ago that I sold. I found it was pretty hard on fuel. I would guess this 500 should be better on fuel.

Best bumper option?

Hey guys! First post, just bought 2 sportsman 570's with ESP for my lady and I. i would like to put a front bumper/ brush guard on them. I think I've narrowed it to a GURU or a Bison hunter. Any thoughts, opinions or experience? Messaged the Guru guys and was given a 3 week lead time. Bison would ship today. Similar price. The bison worries me that it might cake with mud and cause the machine to overhead. I want to ride these things but I don't want to risk breaking something with no protection.

Xmrs can’t swim

Hey gents sad to say I sank the brand new one(2017 outlander 850 xmr) over the handle bars the other night ... not the first time either. Last time I sank it flipped it up pulled plugs pushed the water out of the top of the cylinders set the wheeler down checked oil it was gold replaced plugs fired up and let it warm up. Rechecked oil still gold so kept riding for a few months no trouble.

Now this time sank it got pulled out pulled plugs turned over to clear cylinders , replaced plugs and checked oil and waterfall out of dipstick....
Let that drain and tyres one push of start button and it sounded like I never cleared the water out of the top of the cylinders. So towed it home arrived very late so just pulled all drain plugs and let drain for a few hours.
Woke up early and started the flushing process after replacing drains and refilling tried to start and it acted as if the cylinders had water in them still. So pulled plugs again and turned over until nothing but fuel coming out of cylinders. At this point statted turning over fine. 3 oil changes before even trying to start and run(turned it over multiple times with plugs disconnected. At this point dead battery (lo batt voltage on gauge). Hooked up charger until full batt.

Now no start condition.

I'm at a loss I have checked all fuses I do have all lights and gauge working correctly to the best of my knowledge.
I can hear the fuel pump turn on. I can smell fuel coming out of cylinders. Have plenty of blue lightning at each plug. It will not start I'm banging my head on the wall hear please any advice would be appreciated. Keep riding dirty yall # braplife
