Looking to get some suggestions/insight on how to proceed. Have 2017 Sportsman 570 Hunters Edition. Received Christmas 2016, meticulously followed the break in period and oil change and prev maint after 15 hours, but by April it began overheating at lower speeds 5-15 mph only 30 minutes into the ride. After 3 trips to two different Polaris dealerships the problem persists. Abosutely enraged to have this happen to a brand new machine, Polaris has been unhelpful at every turn. They only let me talk to a customer service agent who listens to my complaints and gives me a case number. Been to a Polaris service dept 3 times and the problem persists. Appreciate any suggestions!!
The knowns:
-Happens everytime about 30-45 minutes in the ride.
-Going on ATV trails at slower speeds 5-15 mph or the machine idling
-Everytime it overheats the fan is NOT coming on.
-The last visit the dealership burped the coolant and replaced a sensor, fixed the problem for the very next ride, fan came on everytime it reach 194 F, but the ride after that the problem persists and fan is still not coming on again.
-The above facts were relayed to two different Polaris dealerships on 3 different visits April-July and the problem persists.
Specifics:
Dealer 1 (where we bought it)- Did absoutely nothing after two visits there. They tried to "recreate" the problem and said the machine showed no codes to suggest a problem and ultimately could not find anything wrong. They stated they contacted Polaris and put notes under the VIN to show the history, but after getting fed up with them took to Dealer 2 who said Dealer 1 put no notes in the system.
Dealer 2- Communicated with Polaris. But same as Dealer 1 they could not recreate the overheating at their shop but "burped" the coolant and replaced a sensor. Next ride out the problem seemed to be fixed. Machine never got above 195 F. The time after that it happened again. 30 minutes into a ride at slower speeds and machine got up to 230 F and fan was NOT coming on.
