Best performance upgrade I’ve ever done!

When you think about a performance upgrades on your ATV you often think about engine mods, clutch kits etc. I never thought adding a lighter wheel would make such a huge difference. I had stock steel wheels with a welded on bead kit. The front wheels were 14lbs each and the rear were 16lbs each. I bought ITP SS216 12X7 4/156 wheels that weigh 7lbs each (lightest I could find). That is 32lbs of rotational mass lost. The performance, throttle response and top speed have increased dramatically. By far the best thing I have done to this ATV so far!!! I put the 4+3 12X7 all the way around with my 26” Pit bull Growlers. I was a littler nervous the rears would not fit the 7” rims but they did just fine.

2016 850SP starting issue

Arrived at the camp last Thursday for a weekend of riding and my machine wouldn't start. My battery was fully charged. When I turned the key to start it nothing was happening, not even a click. There was another machine the same as mine there so I swapped out the key switch, no change. Checked fuses, relays, all good. After some various diagnosing I determined that I wasn't getting 12 volts to the starter solenoid. I disconnected the wire and ran a new wire up to my battery maintainer plug, touched the wire to the 12v side of the plug and the machine started, this is how I started it for the rest of the weekend. Anybody have any idea what the problem might be or where I should start looking? Is this a common issue with these bikes? Could it be the little switch on the brake lever?

Any help would be appreciated.

94 Polaris 300 Won’t Crank

Hello all. I have a 94 Polaris 300 2 stroke that ran perfectly fine when I parked it about a year an a half ago. Since then I haven't had any time at all to ride it. Anyways, I tried starting it yesterday and it won't even crank. I hooked up a jump box and didn't change anything. I have headlights and everything else seems to the working. I do notice however that in the center where my "dummy" instrument lights are, that my neutral light isn't coming on. I clearly have the ATV in neutral. I know there's wires and a switch for the gearshift lever for neutral, reverse, etc. coming off of the whole gearshift assembly. I haven't looked far into it to rule out the kill switch. I am just looking for direction to go in. I am moving and need to sell the atv anyways and don't have much spare time at the moment. On another note..what would be a good asking price? All plastic is in good condition and I just rebuilt the top end. Also comes with Polaris plow.

Thanks for your time

While at the UTV Invasion a few weeks ago, we spied this beautiful Maverick X3 built by Buggy Whips Inc. It features a host of products from major industry companies and as you would imagine, a couple of exceptionally nice LED whip flags.
