My son 500 ran hot a few weeks ago. He cut it off till I could check it out. Had to add coolant. Now fan will not come on but if I straight wire it it will work. I have try to get all the air out but not sure I have. The temp light will come on if you ride it for a few min but fan never kicks on. Need help. Thanks Edward

Picked up a used 06 Hawkeye for cheap and trying to sort it out. Looks like the previous owner installed an intake box from a 330 and cludged it together.

I'd like to see what it's supposed to look like as I'm having a hard time locating real pics on the interwebs. Can someone post a pic of under their seat please?

I also can't seem to find the part number of the lower box. Anyone have one they want to sell? I've found the intake tube on eBay and I think I can make it work with the existing box.

Greetings from rural Ontario! I'm looking for a service manual for my 2000 325 Magnum. Can anyone direct me to a download?

Hey guys, just wanted some input as to what spacer in primary clutch you all ended going with to smooth out your engagement and what tires your running. Gotta 2010 550XP that I'm going to 28" bearclaws and would like to hopefully get close or nailing down spacer on 1st try. THey told me I can either go no spacer,thin spacer,thick spacer, or both thin and thick.

I got a 2008 Polaris explorer 300 and the front cv shafts had been removed by one of the previous owners.
My questions are,
(1) Where the cv shafts would go into the wheel hubs they have been exposed to everything, they are covered with grease but also anything else, can they just be cleaned up and have the cv shafts installed or do you think to much crap has entered and caused internal damage to the bearings?

(2) On one side of the front differential the wheel bearing shield is missing leaving the bearing exposed to the elements, can it be cleaned out and filled with grease and a new shield installed or do you think the bearing would be contaminated and needs replaced?

I don't like the idea of putting it all back together and have to turn around and take it apart, I also wouldn't like to replace parts that might be ok

Just bought this from someone hoping it was an easy fix like a carb clogged but i got screwed to the fullest...I believe the countershaft balancer failed and put a whole through the case. Im Thinking I need an entire engine? not sure if i should rebuild it, or buy another engine. I am a mechanic but havn't done a build like this on any atvs yet. Engine now doesn't even sound like it tries to start. like theres no fuel or spark but it has both.. And the engine sounds good cranking like nothing mechanical noise bad at all.

Was riding yesterday and my wife noticed the lens on the speedometer had a crack in it, we only have 370 miles on our 2016 Outlander 650 max xt no hard riding. The dealer said bring it in he will replace under warranty so no problem. Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen. We really like the machine so far our last atv was a 2001 Honda Rancher good machine but no comparison to this one looking forward to many years of enjoyment.

I recently sold my 2008 Outlander 650XT and am looking for a replacement. Can anybody tell me what has changed since 2008 other than power steering? At this point I am debating between a used 2013 with 550 miles or a new 2017.

Ok, I know this topic has been beat to death but I cannot find the VIN stamped in the frame of my '02 700 Sportsman. I have the owners manual and searched online for info. I've sanded the lower frame rail behind the left front wheel and haven't found anything stamped there. There also aren't any signs of swirl or grinder marks. Is there another location where the VIN is stamped? I'm running out of ideas on where to look...
