gday there.
I recently picked up a new 2016 outlander xt 850.
when I first rolled it off the trailer and took it for a squirt, it was responsive and fast reaching 100km/h easily.
it sat in my shed for a few weeks until I could next take it out, when I did (second ride) it seemed like it was running very rich, i struggled to get 75km/h out of it and its throttle response was sluggish compared to its first ride. I had the black performance key in and was very un impressed with its performance.
any tips on what might be happening here?
the thing has only 45km on it and about 5 engine hours, waaaaaay to early for me to be searching for issues on it I would have thought.
any help would be greatly appreciated

So I decided to post up in case anyone was on the fence about getting spending the money on a Reflash. I'll say this, it's absolutely amazing!
I have the Stage 2 reflash from RVS Performance on my Touring . I have a GSE exhaust and a QSC clutch kit, paired to 26" Roctanes. Pin the throttle, and the 1000 comes alive instantly. If the rear tires hook up, the nose will go in the air, and if your not careful it will go over on you.
Mid range is where this baby shines! The mid range has gobs of torque and on the trails 1/4- 1/2 throttle is all you can use and you better hang on tight, she pulls really hard!
Top end gave me about an extra 500rpm and 80mph. I think the top end was a little low due to the heavy Roctanes. I think with a lighter tire could have seen 83-85mph... it's plenty fast and really worth the money. You can really feel the extra torque!
The machine runs cooler, and seems to also run smoother at an idle. I run 93 octane and temps never see over 187*- 190* during the hot summer months and the fan will bring it back down to around 175* or so. Before I was constantly over 200* and my exhaust was an oven without the rear seat on. It runs much cooler now.
I was worried about reliability and it seems just as good as stock, if not even better. I have about 600 miles on the reflash now...
It's also really smooth and mellow when cruising, or pulling the kids around in the wagon, or chores around the property. Most normal riding you really forget that it's even there until you crack that throttle open.
Just thought I'd give my input... hope this helps

Looking for....
1) Stock muffler and pipe to fit my 2012 outlander 1000xt. Getting tired of my loud exhaust and going to sell it to a friend.
2)The stock clutch springs for my 2012 outlander 1000xt. I need both springs.
Thanks!
