So I was riding in Colorado and Found this

This is what happens when you dont pay attention or going to fast, fell off a mountain pass Engineers Pass over 12000 ft in altitude. Happened a day before we got there. A Polaris 1000

Dumb question about tires…

Ok so I could probably google this but you guys are more helpful. I?m loooking at new rims and tires and I see that it says most rims come in 7x14. Does that mean a 27-9-14 tire will fit on a 7x14 rim?

Lubrication Concerns

I have a late model 2004 Sportsman 500 HO.
The service manual calls for the front gearcase to have 150 ml of "Premium Demand Drive Fluid for the Centralized Hilliard gearcase". There is no mention of a rear gearcase, and if not mistaken it shares with the transmission.

I went to my Polaris dealer and they sold me two bottles.
They said the front should be 120 ml of "Angle Drive Fluid" and the rear has 150 ml of "Demand Drive Fluid for hub and centralized hilliard clutches".

I am confused as to what I should replace the gearcase with. Neither my owners manual nor the service manual mentions anything about a rear gearcase, and the service manual says to put nothing but the Demand drive for Hilliard GEARCASE.

Does anyone know what gives? I am tending to trust the service manual over the counter clerk at the dealership at this point. Last thing I want to do is mess things up right before my big trip.

Swing Arm Noise ( Nord Locks )

I have a 2011 Outlander 500XT with the famous swing arm squeak and in need of M18 or 11/16 Nord Lock washers but can't seem to find anyplace in canada that will sell them. I checked both Fastnel and Acklands but you need a business account to make a purchase, has any fellow riders purchesed these from a canadian store? Thanks

05 outlander 400 carb leaking out bottom

I need help. I have a 05 bombardier outlander 400 4x4. I took apart my carb bowl to clean jet valves, filter, and float/needle. I continue to have a bad leak out of the bottom valve when cover is on. Ive checked to make sure float isn't stuck, checked for dirt in valves, etc. Needle is good. Float seems good unless I need to test it in water for leaks. The screw that holds float, does it need to be set or is it strictly for holding/moving float? Running out ideas.

Please help. No power.

Guys, first post. Second atv, and I am having a major issue I hope you guys can help with.

I decided to tackle a winch install on my newest addition, 2016 sportsman 850 highlifter. I got it all in and followed the directions (or lack of). It was working and then I went to check if it would start and everything would work before putting the panels on and I had no power! I disconnectedness everything and I had power but it wouldn't start. After some more tinkering, I have not gotten it to start and it now has no power to anything. I have no idea what to do. Please help me. Thanks.
