Power steering for gen 1 outlander xt

https://www.superatv.com/can-am-outl...AaAk6jEALw_wcB

I was thinking of adding power steering to my 07 outlander 800 xt. I've had many surgeries and my body is pretty beat up these days. I rode a buddies new Polaris with power steering and it handled like a sports quad. Do you guys recommend adding this to the machine? I figured it's much cheaper than buying a newer one (also my quad is set up exactly how I want it). All advice is appreciated

17 Muffler issues

2017 Outty with 5hrs and the rear of the muffler fell apart. There is a plate with two nuts spot welded on that hold heat shield on and it broke off. Guess what can-am says,we will get back to you. So I can't ride it and can get no response from can-am.

What’s this called?

What is this called and where can I find it? It's where the fuel pressure regulator goes the clips broke that keep it into place. And also do y'all think I need a new FPR?? [emoji23]

Eclipse – Photo Share

Anyone get any decent photos of the Eclipse? Post them here.

We were at approximately 92% of totality where I'm at. Got to a pre-dusk light level, but not nearly as dark as you'd expect from 90+% of totality. But holy crap did the temps drop. Unfortunately I couldn't get any decent pictures A, being at work, and B, only having my phone.

So, lets see the some decent shots.

The Sidecar Cocktail probably doesn’t have anything to do with motorcycles

Sadly, the Sidecar — traditionally made up of equal parts Cognac, Cointreau, and Lemon — is not exactly a morning drink.

Scrambler 500 problem

Hello everyone I have a 97 scrambler 500 4x4 I recently put a new transmission in. It sat for a bunch of year until I was able to find a parts machine. After installing the new transmission it fired right up and idled like a dream, I put it in gear it took off great but the started to bog and lost all power. I'm totally lost on what's going on bike won't go over 20 mph and the bogging continues to get worse. I replaced all the fuel lines and filter also I have check all boots and hoes for air leaks everything is fine. I cleaned the carb still doing it. Stator ohmes out fine. It Boggs in neutral and in gear any help would be appreciated!!

What to look for during test ride

I have narrowed my choices mostly to Can-Am Defender XT 3 seat H8 or H10 after looking at several other makes but have not had a chance to test drive the Can AM. I found a dealer farther away who can do a test ride later this week.

What should I look for and notice during a test ride? I am familiar with the cab features, suspension, etc. but not sure what I would look for during the ride. Would imagine it would be steering, turn radius, ride, acceleration, seat comfort, etc. Since I have not totally committed myself to the Can AM and have not seen the Polaris 1000 coming out nor the Pioneer 1000 I still want to be convinced I'm favoring the Defender.

I'm also wondering about which engine I want. I'm trading out a Polaris Ranger 570 and it has 44 h.p. The H8 says it has 50. That does not seem like much of an increase. I'm doing light work around 5 acres and trail riding but like a little excitement in my toys. I don't want to regret getting too small an engine.

For those of you who have a Defender or have made similar selection decisions what are your opinions, likes/dislikes, engine, etc.

Also about how much under retail could I expect a dealer to get to on a 2018? I may trade in my 570 or sell it on ATVTrader or elsewhere. Any advice on that? Not sure I want the brain damage of personal sell. Thanks for any comments.
