so, i experienced the dreaded melted plastic on my 2005 800 this weekend after pulling my trail mower at slow speeds during 95 degree heat. has anybody heard of using a programmer with an improved fuel map to cut down on exhaust temperatures?
ATV Racer Eats His Handlebars at a GNCC Event + Video

Post up near one of the major obstacles at just about any GNCC event and you’re in for show. This poor guy failed to stand up and let his legs absorb some of the impact and his back and face bore the brunt of it. To his credit he was able to ride it out. more

Also anybody want to give some recommendations on a good snow /mud tire with deep treads without alot of knobbie feeling on the roads that have good life spans

The General: Modded Mondays

Dukes of Hazard fans will love this General Lee themed Polaris RZR. From the big “01” on the doors to the confederate flag graphic on the roof, this builder worked as many elements of the original General Lee into this build as possible and we think it’s a great way to pay homage to the […] more
Help needed bigtime
Hi everyone.. I got a 2010 Sportsman 550XP EFI and Im getting a trouble code of 520193-7 which Im told is the IAC circuit. I checked for bare/broken wires and tested the IAC with ohm meter and all checked out good. I am also having an issue with starting the bike, single click and nothing else, if I use a screwdriver across the solenoid itll start, and also sometimes just immeadiately shuting off, usually after romping on it a little and then letting off, it's like all power is taken away NOW. Shuts off very very quickly. Has anyone ran into the issue/code and does anyone know if a bad battery would create these issues, including the IAC code.
P.S. It's the original battery in bike..
Thanks in advance,
Bob

Major League Baseball Player Steals Mascott’s ATV + Video

Phillie the Phanatic is the fun loving mascot of the Philadelphia Phillies major league baseball team. Although he enjoys entertaining the crowd, very frequently he picks on the players who have no problem playing right along. In this video Phillie’s player Jason Kipnis steals the mascot’s ATV while he was distracted by another player. more
2002 Polaris Xplorer 250 won’t start
I recently purchased a 2002 Polaris Xplorer 250 4x4. It does not start and I have been trying to get it to start. Everything electrical is working great and I have a good spark. Also, fuel is being delivered and I took the carb out and cleaned it well. Today I did a compression test and only turned up 30 psi and I know this is way too low. And its not my gauge because I tested the gauge on my lawnmower and it turned up over 100. I took the valve cover off and the head gasket seems to be OK. I just can't figure out where I am losing compression and what the best way would be to get enough compression to start it up. Any help or recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Newbie saying hi and need help
Long story short...my girlfriend put her 99 scrambler 400 4x4 into a puddle (pond) today. We towed it home and pulled off the filter, carb, air tube on the lower left side and spark plug. We turned it over a bunch to get some water out but not sure where to go from here. I'm mechanically inclind and will be trying to get it going my self but I know nothing about 2 strokes. Motorcycles and cars yes. Need detailed help. More info the better.
Thanks in advance
BTW new to quading...the both of us and have really been enjoying it. Except today!!
