Throttle Comfort

I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on this:

I'm getting back into quad riding and have a new 1000XP Touring and I find if I ride for more than a half hour or so, the pad of my right thumb gets sore. I tend to place it on the edge of the throttle level, which obviously isnt the best place but any lower down (on the flat side), seems a bit of a stretch.

Does anyone know of an accessory or adjustment to help with this?

Thanks,
Scott

2014 Sportsman 570 Shock Preload?

I have adjusted the rear preload up one notch from lowest setting as I carry a passenger on the back. I am wondering if I need to adjust the front to match or how it will effect ride to only adjust the rear? What do you guys normally do for a passenger? Both riders are around 120lbs. Not a touring model.

Anyone know where this bolt goes?

Just sealed up the entire belt box in a sportsman 1000 highlfiter 2017. Found this in the skid plate. I know for sure I didn't take any allen bolts out except the drain and fill plugs on the diffs. So my question is any ideas where this came from? Thanks for any suggestions.

Keeps dying/rough idle very intermittent

2012 polaris sportsman 800 Efi.
Got the bike out to do some running around. It's probably been sitting in the shop a month or so. I noticed it was idling rough and when I gave it throttle it kinda cut out. After a second it cleared up. Then at idle it would die every now and then.

Decided it needed fresh gas. Filled it up and ride about 30 minutes and it's still doing it intermittently.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

2006 Sportsman 500 wont start unless intake is covered

Like the title says my 2006 sportsman 500 ho won't start unless I put my hand over the air intake tube. Once it's started it runs great like normal. I recently replaced the fuel pump and it seems like the new pump is fine. But, is there something I missed that may be causing this problem?

2016 Sportsman 570 – A headache.

After years of rock solid reliability from a 2004.5 500HO (bought new) and a good 09 300 my friend decided he'd buy a 2016 570 EPS last fall.

This has been a headache for him...

'The plastic not fitting, Polaris telling me to drill holes in it and
use push-pins or screws to hold it together.
The rotting exhaust after one ride.
The heat.
The having to pay a $56 deductible to use the warranty at 20 hours
because the water pump housing was bad, and the clutches were not
aligned.
The cracking Lock and Ride windshield.
Headlight bulbs burning out at 20 hours.

And you can say I called Polaris after my dealer could care less and
Polaris had nothing to say and were not concerned at all. And offered
to do nothing.

And in the case Polaris may look at these forums you can say I have
three Polaris's for sale and am changing brands.'

My reason for not buying another, my 400HO will be my last.
