quit starting

my 2003 sportsman ran great one day, wouldn't start the next day. acted like the starter wasn't engaging, but i tore the case off and it seems to be kicking the bendix out correctly. the bendix then stretches out to the flywheel, but wont turn it. when i took the cover off, these 4 magnets and a broken piece of plastic sat in the bottom. can anyone please help? is this a stator problem?

sportsman xp projector headlights

after piggybacking on Gofastwilly i decided to start my own thread, thanks for the input and motivation to do this myself :). been wanting to do this for a while, hids in the stock lights were better than stock left much to be desired, plus projectors always look cool :yahoocool:. this mod isnt overly difficult but there is no turning back when you start, the mods, cutting to the headlights will ruin them to go back to stock.ill update as i go, still undecided on painting or leaving chrome.i used morimoto products on my truck with great results but couldnt justify the price for the bike, so i looked to china for some clones.matchbox 2.0 kockoffs were about 50 and the halos were 15. i did opt for my ever favorite ddm tuning hid kit, went with 55watt 5000k with the new ultra bulbs, the difference can be seen in the side by side comparison pic of both 55 watt kits the other being a generic ebay kit.anyway heres some pics.

Tire pressure and pump

Hola amigos:
Leland here. I am very new to ATVs. As a matter of fact we just bought a new Outlander for mexico to use as a street ride. I have been reading in the manual about tire pressure. It says 7psi from and back. What king of air pump do you guys recommend for inflating the tires? It may sound like a dumb question but when in doubt, ask.
Thanks

2004 trailblazer 250 starter solenoid

new one does not match up exactly. The big wires match up.
There is only 1 small wire coming off of new solenoid. There were 2 small wires coming off old one.
I was told to ground the second wire.
starter turns over but wont fire up. I checked there is spark.
I removed solenoid and it will fire when i pull start it.
Put it back on and it turns over but wont fire.
something is not correct.....

Cooling system

I kind of fumbled up while I was doing some work on my XMR. I had the rear of my bike jacked up to install the trailing arm. I took a break and popped the plastic off the front mounted radiator. I saw the radiator cap and got the bright idea to check the fluid. Well, I opened the cap and saw air get sucked down into the line. Now I'm worried this is going to cause an issue with overheating. I don't know the cooling system well on these. Should I burp the system or am I fine?
