Buying Advice – 2014 Canam Outlander 650XT

Hi Folks,

I'm coming from the Yamaha world so trying to familiarize myself with the Canams. I have an opportunity to purchase a 2014 Canam Outlander 650XT with all the trimmings. It currently has 4300KMS, original owner and proof of all regular maintenance. Asking is $8500 CA, but I'm confident I can probably get it for $7500.00

1. Any issue with this model I should look out for?
2. Decent price?

Any comments or input would be appreciated.

trailing arm

Front wheel bearings are done and now I'm trying to replace the rear wheel bearings but can't get left one out. So I am now trying to remove the trailing arm so the bearing can be pressed out.

I've checked the manual 3 times and see nothing preventing the trailing arm from sliding off after the nut is removed with the special socket. (torsion bar nut and the bar itself is out of course) Am I missing something or is this one probably seized on there. I've tried pulling, wiggling, used a 2lb hammer to tap the area of the arm next to the frame upright.

Inner rear CV Boot replacement

I have to replace my inner rear CV boot. 2014 Renegade 800.
I have never replaced one before.
Any Videos or or tips would be helpful.
What boot is best? OEM, All Balls? other?
