First issue 2017 xp 1000le

21 hrs, 260 kms. Started having electrical issues

it is in polaris shop now for electrical issue with wire harness that comes up to pod. When i turn left engine dies or if you move harness with your finger it quits. Plastic cover looks like its breaking the wires through the loom. Braided hose for brakes runs right beside harness.

Not sure if they will replace harness or just repair the broken wires. Will call today.

Having them do the first 25 hr service as well

just mad it by 2 days for my warranty to expire.

Visco lok question

I have a 2013 rene xxc 1k so it should have a visco lok qe in it. I've noticed that my front tire will spin for about 3 seconds before it will finally engage the other wheel. I thought it was supposed to engage a lot faster than this???

2014 sportsman 570 efi

Have a bit of play in pinion shaft, how do I change or replace bushing Polaris calls it Dawel pin or bushing.
I can have a local guy make one a lot cheaper. Polaris sells it as art of a kit includes pinion shaft, bearing ,
Seal , retainer clip, pinion seal, all for $688.00 don't need all that.

Im new and didnt know what to buy so struck a deal on 2 polaris machines. 450 HO for wife and 570 for myself. So far so good. If we really use these machines Im going for an 850 late but for now until I know how they are used this is my plan. :lick:

2016 Maverick XXC suspension upgrade.

I originally had no intentions on buying a SXS but the wife wanted one and we were looking at a left over XDS turbo and its the one I wanted, (didn't want an X3 as they are 30grand plus in Canada) so the XDS seemed like enough machine as I mainly ride dirt bike. by the time the wife makes up here mind everything was sold and we settled for the XXC model.


I thought the skinnier version would be better for the trails but around here everything is SXS's anyway and its littered with XRS X3's at 72" wide, my cousins XRS goes everywhere I does and its silky smooth. I've been thinking about converting my XXC to the 64" wide to get a little more suspension and stability. most kits I see online are for XDS/XRS mavericks.


What options are there? I found a LT kit but the store said after spending $6000 CAD i'll be over 70" wide and still half as good as a base X3 so that's no good. I looked for a wrecked XMR as it seems to have the same TTA rear suspension and its also octane blue like mine but nothing I could find.
