curious
yes i recently bought 2012 850 xp eps limited was a steal of a deal with only 1800 kms, with that being said before i went to look at it i was assuming it was 850 HO,when get tho i do not see the little HO sticker maf date says 01/11/11,i thought anything made after the 6 month would of been next years model?i had the 2010 850xp eps treated me well with 7500 miles,i know the intake is different is there a clear way to tell or does it have to be made in 2012 thanks scott
Winch remote?
Sorry for all the newbie questions. I just upgraded my old 2007 Outlander 500 XT to a SLIGHTLY used 2016 Outlander Max 1000R. My old machine came with a wired winch remote. I don't see anything like that on my new one. Does it exist and I just haven't found it yet or no remote available? Thanks.
Interchangeable parts
I have a stock 2016 sportsman 450 HO and I am looking to upgrade some things on it. I want to get the most out of this bike and make it as fun as possible to drive. Finding parts for it seem kinda difficult for some reason. I am looking for an
Aftermarket exhaust and air intake for it and can't seem to find one. Do parts for a 570 fit on it fine? Such as an exhaust or intake. Also I plan on flashing the ecu after I do these upgrades to get the most power I can. Any thoughts on this ???

Battery light flashing
Hi all I have a 2012 sportsman 400ho. Today while riding with low beams on and a mixture of high and low range the battery light would flash. If I shut the lights off it would stop flashing. I had one time when I shut the machine off and it barely restarted. Ride the rest of the day without lights on and no more batter light and it fired right up each time without an issue.
Any ideas??? Thank you

570 fuel pump
Hope all are having a great Independence Day. Question, should the fuel pump on 2014 sportsman run constant when disconnected from the fuel rail or just a few seconds like mine?
Removing plastic sheilds??
Any harm in removing the plastic shields that cover the motor on a 1000 Outlander XT Max? I hate to see that big beautiful engine hidden behind black plastic:smile What holds them on before I go pulling on stuff?
xmr dying out in mud, and broke shifter
Just got back from a great weekend of riding at muddy bottoms atv park in LA. Had a great time but having a couple problems with her. It is a 2017 XMR 570.
First problem is that when in deep mud it just kinda starts sputtering and then dies. Wont do anything until i got pulled out, no lights come on, no fan, no starter, no nothing. I am taking it in tomorrow for some other problems but would like to know if anyone else has had this problem. i don't think they have a mud pit out back to test the problem lol.
Second problem was the shifter just broke, the shifter base is plastic and it just tore in 2, now there was a zip tie on it and it has had trouble going into L from day one so i don't know if they broke it during assembly and figured a zip tie would work or what. I put larger zip ties on it and was able to make the weekend just leaving it in low and never taking it out.
3rd problem is the melting rear plastics but after reading another thread on that i guess that is something im going to have to tackle myself lol

Everyone likes to punch the throttle and see how much roost they can kick up. We’re not sure if it’s just the slow motion that makes this look crazy, but we’re thinking it’d be pretty tough to beat this roost from Doug Eichner. more

This guy got more than he bargained for and almost went for a drink. By some miracle he managed to keep it on all fours. Sometimes hydroplaning goes terribly wrong! more
