800 Injectors in 650 Outlander?

Hey all!

I have a 2011 Outlander 650 Max, with an 800 top end from MrRPM. I'm running a Dobeck AFR+, which for the most part is doing a good job taking care of tuning.

I had the bike out for the first long run since rebuilding, for about 15 minutes on the 5 hour run, the Dobeck stopped reading the O2 sensor. The fuel map kept the bike running fine under load, but she stumbled while trying to idle. I also have a fairly lean idle pretty much all the time with the dobeck setting maxed. Not dangerously lean, but leaner then I would like.

I don't want to have any more down time right now, I'll probably send the ECU away to be tuned this winter. I'm just trying to think of a way to increase the fuel sent to the bike so the Dobeck doesn't have to adjust as much.

I've been told that the 800s my year have bigger injectors, would they be a direct fit, and would they increase fuel sent to the cylinders (when the Dobeck is off, when it is on it should correct with either)?

Thanks!

Sportsman Issues

Hey everyone I have a 2007 sportsman 800 and I am having issues... I have 2 issues, the first issue I'm having is with my coolant.. it seems to vanish and I have no leaks... I've triple checked. I confirmed my thermostat is working along with my fan. I'll drive for an hour and will have to refil my coolant.. I will also get the "hot" and check engine on the dash about 30 mins into my ride. Any ideas?

My 2nd issue is with with my screen/control area. My RPM gage works along with my gear indicator and fuel gage. My odometer and speedometer do NOT... my battery light flashes constantly as well... I've checked my battery and it's full (12.8). The qaud has no problem starting and has had no power loss.

Thanks for any help guys. I'm trying to learn and do all the work on my own and having a route to take would be appreciated!!

PCV map question

Well after trying numerous different solutions to try and fix what seems to be a lean pop at cruise and while reving my renegade 1000, I ordered a PCV to replace my HMF optimizer. It hasn't arrived in the mail yet, but after looking on powercommanders website I can only find 2 maps? One is stock and the other is for a two brothers slip on and stock air filter. Am I missing something or are these the only premade maps available? I really don't have the time or money to throw at taking it to a dyno for tuning, so if someone could let me know if more maps are available I'd appreciate it.

My mods are a UNI foam filter and a big gun exo slip on. I plan on getting a full system and maybe doing some motor work in the future.

How do I get a map

How do I get a map of fireco WV unpaid trails, it has miles and miles trails. I have tried to get a map, but couldn't find one, maybe there is none to be found. My family and I vacationed there and road for two weeks following the paths that were obvious, however, I would like a detailed map. The trails are all natural and unpaid, totally free. The trails are awesome! If you know how to get a map could you please share your information with me, Thanks.

My whole family loved these trails I give them a 10

Fireco West Virginia is in the heart of miles and miles of trails. What once was an old coal camp has left old railroad paths, and state road paths, that grew into 4 wheeling paths. You can ride for weeks and never go down the same path. It's free, It's covered with ATV trails that many now are finding, it's still new to out of state people, it is a local secret.

It is the most fun my family has ever had, my kids road with us on the smooth trails, then we would go out in the evenings and ride the more difficult trails. We have still not even put a dent into the trails available and we vacationed there for two weeks. The locals are friendly, country people, that also love to ride. Make sure you take your fishing poles, there are tons of fishing spots.

We fished, road, and camped, we were all in heaven, it is one of America's best kept secret's for sure. I give it a 10 and my kids begged me to move there. We didn't have a map, we just adventured, however I would like to know how I could get a map.

Longest atv trails Ive seen and as far as I know its all fee, no paid trails

Fireco WV has trails that go to odd WV, Josephine WV, Coal City WV, Shady Spring WV, it the heart of all 4 wheeling. It is listed as the longest unpaid trail left in WV. It has so many trails you'll be in heaven. I grew up in fireco and we and our neighbors know that all the trails used to be state roads and railroad paths. All are still state roads that grew up into 4 wheeling paths, at this point no one can stop you from riding.

It's heaven, my entire family vacationed there for 2 weeks, we had campfires, rides, grilling, and no one telling us what to do, it is total freedom. The locals are all friendly and used to ATV riders, they ride themselves. I ask one of my neighbors who is 70 years old if we were bothering him at night, he laughed and said me and all my kids and grand kids ride.

If you really enjoy riding and living free, ride through fireco WV you'll be amazed and love it. Its all nice natural trails untouched by developers that want your money. My little boy 9 years old was tearing it up. We vacationed there and had a better time than we have ever had.
