Hi I have a 2016 outlander max 1000 and gonna be getting a hmf titan qs and the hmf efi for it and was wondering if anyone has this setup also. I read that it is plug and play but also said i can change the settings on it. Can anyone recommend if I should play with the settings or don’t change it?

That’s why I love this forum , way back I read about xp issues with the plastic plate chafing the wiring harnesses and low and behold my 2017 xp 1000 le is beginning to wear through the Harness casing , I’ll be trimming that back and taping up before it makes big problems!
08 sportsman 800 efi twin. Noticed a knocking sound coming from engine. I drained the oil and noticed a lot of brass shavings in it. I'm pretty sure it's in need of a rebuild but was wondering if it's in need of a top rebuild or lower rebuild. Can that be determined by the brass shavings? Are both the crank and rod bearings brass?

I got this 1999 Sportsman 500 4x4 and I was out one day and went to shift into low to load it on my trailer. So it wouldnt go into Hi or Lo, only reverse. So when I got home I tore the gear selector unit apart and it was disgusting, total rust. So fast fwd to today. I finished rebuilding the selector unit and put it back on, felt good. Go to the farm and worked fine for a while. Then the same thing happened, stuck in reverse and cant get into Hi or Lo. Took a pair of pliers and moved the Hi lever on the tranny manually and got it to go. So obviously it wasnt the rusted out gear selector box, any one have this happen? I am going to try and adjust linkage and see what happens. I just dread if it is something in the trans.
I just purchased a 2000 trailblazer 250 and it has been sitting inside for about 2 years. It will not start or run without the choke pulled out. Is there anything special I should know before I pull it apart? Better safe to ask first.....

I have a 2014 Sportsman 550xp with alloy wheels. no hub dust cap comes on them.
Does anyone know if the wheel hub dust cap that comes on the atvs with steel wheels will they fit under the wheel cap of the alloy wheels??
the hub part numbers are the same but I dont know if the dust cap will prevent the wheel cap from fitting on.
Can someone please measure how far the cap sticks out from the hub.
