2005 Polaris 500 Sportsman Charging Issue
Have been chasing a overcharging issue with this atv for a bit now. The final thing I have done is replaced the Voltage Regulator with a brand new one and new battery. First drive as the RPM’s came up battery light flashing in on the speedometer. Put it in diagnostic mode and began to spin the engine up. Hit 16+ volts. Idling it 14.4 volts. Then I put the lights on and it would hold around or above 14 volts. Took it for a drive and then it seemed to produce a under-charge. 12.1 to 13.1 volts without lights on. I am at a complete head scratch! Has anyone got any ideas what might be going on here?
What engine is this
I have what is believed to be a 800efi, the engine model number is EH0760LE013. My 2005 manual states that the last two digits should be 11 not 13 to be a 2005. The serial/production number is 0120324701107. Please help if you can. I will check Polaris if no one can help. BTW there is a thirs set of numbers on the tag 1203247 not sure what they mean?
2000 Polaris Sportsman 500 AWD Issue
Hello all new to the form... I picked up my first used ATV and the last thing on my list of repairs is the AWD. I does not work I’ve tried the grounding the brown and white wires as apparently was supposed to be a simple fix but did not work for me. I wired in a AUX switch in and the AWD works however I’m pulling power directly off the battery with I don’t care for... before I throw the towel in with the original AWD set-up (on demand) has anyone come across another fix? I’m thinking I may have a short in the harness going from the switch to the plugs for the coils to plug into. Any help would be much appreciated

Sportsman 570 HMF Exhaust, snorkle, radiator relocation
Located in central North Carolina. HMF exhaust is loud and you should buy a piggy back fuel controller. $150 plus your stock muffler. Snorkle kit and radiator relocation $200 plus your stock clutch cover vents and airbox lid, and front storage cover. You’ll get my storage cover already drilled as needed.

2nd Polaris engine failure
Good afternoon, gentlemen! I'm not extremely familiar with Polaris engines, but here's my story. It's a 2013 Sportsman 800. My buddy brought it over for a knocking noise. I found one of the lower rod bearings was shot. I ordered a complete rebuild kit and installed it. The kit was a new crank with rods, pistons, bearings, gaskets, lifters and water pump. The engine ran great for 3 hours and now has a lower end knock. It sounds pretty bad. I prelubed the engine and went through the break in procedure. I plan on opening it up and see what failed tonight. I'm a mechanic by trade and have rebuilt numerous engines. Is their something with these polaris engines I overlooked? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks?
