New Guy New Problems 04 700 efi

Hi All. First off let me say this seems to be the best site for Polaris ATV's.
I have a 04 700 efi that's been giving me fits:aargh4: I had follow AK Stews thread about all the trouble he had getting his lined up much of mine was the same problems hot fuel and the like.

I had a rough idle and it ran to rich so I put a gauge on it sure enough 50 psi so I replaced the fuel pump with the Carter and fuel pressure reg[Standard brand] and a Wix fuel filter also sprayed out the throttle body. Life was good it idled and ran fine. Then I noticed a drop of coolant coming out of the water pump so I replaced the water pump seal and the oil seal it stopped the coolant leak but now it wont hardly idle and backfires thru the breather box.

Now to date I have replaced the plugs NGK, intake boot OEM, T Bap wiring from OTB, gas is good.
Could I have done something when I put it back together it seems like I must have because it ran fine before I put the seals in. I checked the throttle stop today and it was fine one more thing I sprayed the throttle body out gain just before I put it back together. :ponder:

330 Trailboss Footboards?

I recently bought my daughter an '04 Trailboss 330 in (mostly) good shape. Mechanically, it runs great. Starts easy every time, runs smooth, pulls strong and shifts easy. Somebody took the oil cooler off along the way and plumbed the lines together. I'm assuming that won't be a problem as it looks like it's been w/o a cooler for some time. However, I've located one on eBay, so I can fix that. One thing I am having trouble finding are footboards. The right one is broken off about 2 inches from the toe-end of it. This Trailboss has the integrated mudflaps on the front and back of each footboard that bolt to the fenders. Checked eBay for those and have found some for other Polaris models that *look* right, but I don't know how many other models used the same footboard. Any thoughts - where else I may look for 2 good used ones, or which ones interchange between models? Any input appreciated. Thanks.

Bike won’t start

I am having an issue with my ‘13 outlander 650 starting. I have had it happen twice now and of course it’s halppening right now. I went for a long saturday ride with many start and stops and left bike in trailer overnight when I got home. I went to unload in morning and it fired right up. Backed it off trailer and let it run for a few minutes. When I went to move it into the garage it stalled and died. She won’t start now. It just cranks over. It will sputter for 1 second and die and then just turn crank. The first time it happened before Xmas I swapped to new plugs and it fired right up. I only have 2 runs on the new plugs. Is there any way that plugs can get fouled up? And can it be fixed. The battery is fully charged.

Rjwc exhaust

Bought a set of used duals for a great price that i couldnt pass up even though i said 2 years ago that i was leaving bike stock
anyone that has installed these do you have to remove the rear plastics to install the left tailpipe ?
Im hoping the seller is sending me the paper work for the install of their fuel controller as well
he did say their was hardley any noticable performance gains due to the fact the oem exhaust flows so much better in 2017 vs 2016
he did says it sounds amazing even with the quite cores installed

07 outlaw 500

Im having a problem with my bike not shifting out of first. When I parked it, it was fine. The bike was smoking so I pulled it in the shop and tore it down. Replaced piston, gaskets, rings, wristpin and clips. When I pull up on the lever, there is no resistance. Its not even trying to grab anything. I can run around in first gear tho. Like I said, it shifted out just fine when i parked it.

98 Polaris Xplorer 400 Rebuild Questions

Hey everyone. Been on the forum for awhile but mostly just a lurker.... until now.

I have worked a lot on snowmobiles and Jetskis so I am not new to two strokes by any means.

My xplorer 400 has a tight bottom end. Tore it down and the crank and counter balance is toast. Looking for a source for rebuild / new crank etc. can’t seem to find a good source when searching. Any guidance in this rebuild would be helpful as well. First time doing anything but maintenance to this quad. I’ve owned since new.

2018 Sportsman Front Brakes Dragging

I have a 2018 Sportsman 450 with 110 miles on it. On the last ride I noticed my front brakes began to squeal a bit. Now any time i roll the quad both front brakes squeal and have quite a bit of resistance when I attempt to free spin them. The vehicle is only 7 months old so hoping nothing too major to fix. Any suggestions?

Multi message display

Have a 2018 Can AM 570 XT, brochure says I should have a tachometer read out on the multi message display. A fellow rider has a '17 570 XT, tachometer screen shows up before or after the km/h screen. I have cycled through the menu several times but have yet to find the tachometer screen?

Any advice is appreciated.

thanks.
