2006 Polaris Ranger 6X6 EFI fuel problem?

Have replaced fuel pump twice. I think I had water in the gas from a problem filling station. I drained the gas, drained the lines and installed a fuel pump kit. New spark plugs and air filter. Fresh gas.

It will start, but dies quickly. Checking the fuel line, I get a single spurt of gas, but no more. I got the fuel pump kit from Amazon, not sure it was correct, but it did seem to work.

Any ideas?

Extended Warranty

As posted previously, I purchased a 2019 Sportsman 570. At time of purchase, I passed on the extended warranty, because the insurance company hadnt reimbursed me for my stolen ATV. Insurance company came through with a bit more than I expected on reimbursement. I have now been wondering about the extended warranty. At the time of purchase, they offered it to me at about 750.00 for an additional 4 years of warranty. I contacted the dealer today, and they will still honor that price. I have purchased "extended warranties" on other things, and never used them, so I felt like I wasted money. Is there enough evidence out there to warrant such a purchase?

ny atv reg,. non transferable

I have a nontransferable New York registration in hand For an ATV. Will I ever get a transferable registration? So I can sell the ATV in the future? Or is this all I'm going to get?

93 Polaris Trail Boss 350 – does engine sound ok?

Hey guys i'm back after a long break from the forum. Some of my old posts from many years ago mention this machine. A little background: It was my wife's grandfather's that he bought new, and when he passed away around 2010/2011, we were given it. It had not been running at the time for a long while.

I got it running around 2013, the carburetor needed cleaned, i needed a new battery, and i had to drain the old gas / varnish out of the tank. It fired up, and we had an entire summer of fun with it, trail riding, and using it around the house for small chores. Then life happened, new job, new house, and it sat in my grandparents' shop for about the last five years. Now i want to work on it again, i know it needs TLC and some small things like a new rear sprocket, and the front breaks aren't working, but with me knowing very little about 2 strokes and how they are supposed to sound, how does this motor sound to you?

My dad has offered to do a top end on it if it needs it, but said nothing about the bottom end. Does this motor sound healthy to you? I don't really know what it's supposed to sound like, i have much more experience working on 4 strokes.

Thanks guys!

Hard start

2016 outty 1000 xtp , only owned it for roughly 3 weeks , soon as I got it , I thought it started kinda hard... It turns over fine .. but takes a few to many spins to get it to fire.... I got a batt tender hard wired to it . So I don't believe it's the batt .... It starts every time but some cycles seem longer than others and I'm just wondering if any one has had this happen ... Granted the weather rite now is almost always below freezing , but I've seicne put new 91 octane fuel in it and a can of seafoam , as the previous owner had let it set for a good six months ... She runs great and smooth , just a few to many cycles to fire ... Any thoughts ?

2000 Sportsman 500 Problems

I have a 2000 Polaris Sportsman 500. A year or so ago we got it running after replacing the kill switch. It ran great but after some use for a couple months it got a flat tire and for some reason we just forgot about it and it sat for some time. Before it sat i replaced the gas

cap, fuel filter, fuel pump, petcock, battery, starter relay, oil and oil filter. I recently went to start it and it started so quickly and without choke or throttle but the ATV wouldn't move till about 1/4 throttle and it wasn't really a smooth ride until 1/2 throttle. it also would bog

out randomly after you came to a stop and sounded like it was getting too much fuel. I cleaned the carb and adjusted the air/fuel screw to 1 3/4 turns out. I also messed with the idle and the throttle cable adjuster up on the handlebars. It's safe to say it now runs worse

than when i started working on it 2 days ago. It takes more effort to get started and bogs out idling after about 30 seconds. I tried adjusting the idle but every time i do it'll get to a sweet spot but after driving it down the driveway and back the idle will go up and down to

the point where i can't put it in gear because the gears will grind. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
