Hey guys if you read my other posts I told you how I swapped my quad I have it up and running and the oil is clear again but now my check engine light is on and it says “oil pressure low please shut engine down” so I drained the oil again and took the brand new oil filer out and it was completely dry I’m kinda stumped on this one please help thank you

My ATV was stolen and the police recovered it. I am amazed with the speed they recovered it. Anyways. They cut the ignition harness out and used a toggle switch for accessories and would bump two bare wires to the starter. Anyways, it appears to be 4 wires. When I ordered the new key ignition and harness, it was 6 wires. The wire color codes don’t match up. can someone send me a picture of the ignition and it will try to match up colors to the pin layout. I can’t find any info anywhere online. I can send pic, too late tonight, however. I talked to the Polaris dealership and they said theirs was 6 pin ignition.

Hello. I have been a Polaris owner for many years and am coming here seeking advice and knowledge. I look forward to the exchanges to come. The garage houses a 2001 500 HO, 2002 500 HO and a Ranger 900XP. I am trying to find some info on the 2001 right now so will be asking questions soon.

anyone have tips on how to remover the gearbox on a commander ? got the dreaded high gear grind . thanks in advance

Hi guys! I just as of yesterday picked up a 2008 Sportsman 500 H.O., I’m new to these ATV’s and fairly new to posting in general on a forum (been a lurker for a long time lol) and had a few questions, my bike runs great, and is mechanically sound and I bought it as a good start on a mud project, I am in need of a few things like brake lines, (just need to know where to find them or which lines will work) a new seat, possibly some new plastics, and other cosmetic stuff like that mainly, what all year models and sizes of sportsman ATV’s will interchange parts wise? I’m not sure about all of the different body styles and everything, any help on this would be appreciated!

Hello all! Just purchased my first Can Am. 2019 570 XMR. I’ve always been a Honda guy. Figured if you can’t beat em join em. Looking forward to learning all about my new ride from you guys.

I have a 2019 Defender XMR with Camo plastics. Does anyone have silver plastics that would be willing to trade all 5 pieces? Mine are like new, only 2 weeks old, would except the same condition for trade. I am located in north central Florida. Let me know.

Work only,1800 total miles,primary use,snow plow and corral drag.

1) third battery installed Sep 2018

2) voltage regulator replaced April 2018,starting problems and power steering locked.

3) starter replaced Sep 2018. Starting problems and power steering locked

4) factory winch replaced Jan 2019. Plow use only,up and down.

5) right side engine cover melted from exhaust heat.

6) will not start.currently in shop for diagnostics. Feb 2019.

Has anyone experienced similar problems and is there any recourse with the factory?
