Hi guys I’m replacing the stator on my 2017 sportsman 850sp since it isn’t charging the battery, I already replaced the voltage regulator which ended up not being the issue so now I’m trying to get to the stator, but it’s difficult to get to with the position it’s in if anyone is able to give tips/tricks on the easy way to get the housing off that would be great Thanks!

Hey guys just bought a 2018 defender HD8 max base model and was wondering if you can buy the differential lock switch and just plug it in just like the drive mode switch. Anybody with hands on experience with this project?

I just purchased a 2010 550 with EPS. It is showing a 105 3 code, which should be the air intake temperature sensor. The dealer will pay for the parts and I would normally just go buy a sensor. However, I've read that many times it's the harness going to the sensor.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? How would I know? Right now, the ATV is running great, but I think those kind of sensors only cause problems when it's warm out and it's been below zero since I bought it.

Any advice? I should probably pull it and clean it, but I'd like to have a game plan first.

So I started the build on my 2019 850. Parts have started to show up and so far I have the 2” Highlifter kit installed and Polaris #3500 winch. Tires showed up yesterday but no rims yet. Exhaust will be next. I will keep updating as parts roll in and she begins to take shape.

Advice/recommendation on a set of lite rear UTV tires 26x11-12 needed for mainly very soft deep sand 65%, 15% gravel rd., 10% hard pack, 5% paved roads. 5% mud. All the reviews mention mainly mud lites, and very little sand lite tire brands! Looking for a tire that's lite but will dig well, reducing motor clutch overworking while slipping/spinning in lite sand. Appreciate any advice, Thanks, Steve

Has anyone ever changed out the two intake filters under the hood with any kind of aftermarket filters? The stock filters just dont seem like they are very good.

New here just bought a can am HD8 max. Planning to ride at Doe Mountain and the Hatfield McCoy trail system.
