Replacement headlight with LED’s

Hi everyone

I want to replace my stock headlights with LED's. I have ordered some off of Amazon and they came but they have a fan in the back of the headlight that will for sure get gummed up with mud. I'm wondering what everyone uses for replacement bulbs for high and low beams.

I have a 1000 outlander

570EOS cutting out

Hi Guys,

I have a 2017 570EPSand plow which i bought for clearing the snow from my drive. Good use last winter but nothing over the summer.

I did start up the engine every week and it never failed to start, but on occasions it struggled to turn over the engine initially.

Just having to start clearing snow now but find that on full lock at lower revs the engine cuts out.

Would I be right in thinking that the electrical load with plow and EPS is just too much to continue sparking the plug, or could there be another reason.

New when I got it, but only used maybe a tank and a half of gas.

Thanks

Joe

850 rebuild

Im looking for insight from anyone who has to rebuild their 850. Long story short I bought a 850 xmr with 50 hours on it and the motor spun a rod bearing my first time out. The pistons and cylinders looked like the previous owner had sunk it and ran it with sandy oil for an extended period of time. What I have come to find out is that they do not make 10 over pistons for these motors. It seems that my only choice is to buy new cylinders and pistons from the dealer(on top of a new crank), which is not very cost effective. Has anyone had to rebuild their 850s yet? if anyone has I would like to know what path you took. At this point I'm going to order 1000 pistons cylinders and convert to motor to a 1000 so I can rebuild it in the future if need be.

There are some great end of year Moto/ATV/etc gear deals out there

Congratulations to all of you who’ve survived the holiday season (relatively) unscathed—you deserve a reward, and some of the web’s biggest moto gear retailers have got you covered. Both Revzilla and Cycle Gear (among others) have been discounting some of your favorite motorcycle gear as we count down the final days of 2018. In the case of Revzilla, their aptly named “Holiday Hangover Sale” covers a range of riding gear and casual gear from a ton of different brands. Cycle Gear on the other hand is looking ahead to 2019, and their multi-category sale seems to have been meant as an early 2019 promo that they decided to launch early. This January Clearance Sale deals in riding gear, helmets, bike parts, and other goodies. Of the range of deals, here are a handful that stood out to us as being worth a closer look.

Save 25% on Wolfman Luggage

SHOP NOW

Loaded into Revzilla’s extensive Holiday Hangover sale, the much loved weatherproof and adventure-proof gear from Wolfman Luggage is currently up for grabs for 25% off for a limited time. Covering everything from their duffel bags and backpacks through to saddlebags and tank bags, these gear bags are ideal for adventure and enduro riders, as well as those heading out on ATVs and UTVs where staying warm and dry might not be an option. If you’re already well stocked on their luggage, additional accessories like their handy tool roll, universal saddlebag straps, and other helpful attachments are also part of the deal.

Up To Half Off Dainese Riding Gear

SHOP NOW

It seems Dainese gear is frequently on sale these days, but a fresh batch has gone up via Revzilla as part of their aptly named “Holiday Hangover Sale”, bringing prices down as far as 52% off (For example, the Prima 72 Jacket for less than $300). All told, just under 100 items are up for grabs, including gloves, pants, boots, jackets, and even a few of their full race suits. At full retail the brand’s gear can be pretty pricey, but when discounted like this they often blow the more modestly priced competition (Icon, Joe Rocket, etc) out of the water.

Maintenance guide or link???

Been reading that these require routine maintenance. Got a 2016 Max XT with low hours that lives at my cabin in mountains. Did fluid changes after first 10 hours or so and greased a few zirk fittings I saw at rear suspension area.

I'm wondering if there's a step by step guide or videos of what to do and look for,or should I just buy a maintenance manual? If so, what's recommended?

Only mods done to quad are BRP fairing, Winch, front brush guard and light bar. I tend to do my own maintenance on vehicles.

I'm sure this has been discussed a million times so feel free to point me to a link. 😎

Favorite hand guards

Looking to get some hand guards for my atv. It's a '98 polaris xplorer 300. I ride through a lot of brush/thorns and tear of my hands. Suggestions?
