New to the forum. Just purchased a 2019 maverick sport 1000R. Love it. From pennsylvania.

New to the forum. Just got a 2019 SP 850 Premium Edition. Picked it up late on friday so I wasn't able to get insurance. So It sits till monday.

Just joined forum and have read a lot of good threads seems there are lot of good people here offering up good advice.
Always try to do as much of the service work as I can, saying that here I am about to (TRY) to install plastic skid plates purchased from my Can AM dealer for on my 2019 850 Max XT
I did install a aluminum set on my 2015 500 Max Xt that kit was a headache better part of afternoon (OFF SHORE RUSSIAN)lots a parts.
Can Am kit has less parts but MY QUESTION??? does the front plate go up under the existing plastic or over and attach to the winch fairing bolts the rest seems straight forward.
Any advice and pictures would be welcome.

Riding this week and the engine light came on ,about the same time I realize I dont have 4X4 anymore. The drive fuse was blown. Replaced and went on my merry way. Blew another in a couple minutes dident see any obvious wires that might be frayed or burnt. Got back to the cabin and Pulled code 520207 5 . All Wheel Drive Control,,,Driver Circuit Open/Grounded. The only thing I could think to do was look for broken wires at the switch and where the wires go into the front gearcase.The only thing I found was 1 of the 2 wires in the AWD switch box on the handlebar was pinched. How do I disconnect that wire harness from the switch I couldn't unplug it.
Any guidance on what else and where to look for anything?
2015 850 SP

As I was riding I heard a strange noise as if the belt broke and when I took the cover off it seemed the secondary clutch bolt had come out and stripped the cam gear.

The new cam I purchased is retrofitted for that bike(shown in the picture).

I'm having trouble assembling the retro cam helix and the stock secondary clutch plate.

The bolt will go in but I cannot get the belt tool to expand the plates.
(do I need new plates? and also the new spring that fits into the helix?)
I saw a youtube video that showed a spring that was fitted into tits one in the helix the other in the clutch plate.

I'm not sure of the alignment of the clutch plates either as they came apart when the bolt snapped originally.

My Superwinch needs a wire from the ignition switch to tie into. There is an open 4 prong plug and two single open wires under the front storage. I assume they’re for the Polaris Winch hookup. Does anybody know what color goes where? It says I need a brown wire from the ignition to the remote and handle bar controls. Thanks.

I am looking for a mount bracket for the Glacier 1 plow system for a 2000 Sportsman 335 part#2874774.i have part#2874773 mount for this system that I believe fits a 2003-2010.If anyone interested in buying it after I find one I need. Polaris says this part is no longer available, so I need help guys!!!

I should be taking delivery of my xmr in about a week, does anyone know where i can buy A-arm protection?

Can-Am does Not have these available yet and the ones from the 2019 xrc do not fit for some reason.

Also does the xmr and the arc have the same underbelly protection?

So after an accident some years ago, I finally got around to rebuilding my scrambler.

I'm trying to get it to fire and run. It will run on starting fluid but not on fuel. I pulled the carb and cleaned it throughout. It looked great. I believe I rebuilt it before the accident. I reset the float levels and confirmed I have fuel in the bowl.

If I cover the carb inlet with my hand and allow just some air through my fingers, it will fire.

What an I missing here? Shouldn't it for and run with an open carb intake?
