New side by side owner

New to sxs have ridden motorcycles, quads, snowmobiles all my life. I’m old and broken so sold the Harley Electra Glide and bought a 2013 1000 xt commander, looking to have fun in Quartzsite in the winter and Oregon and Washington in summers.

Holding crank on stator side Primary clutch removal?

Hello everyone,
I have been doing some work on clutches and had installed a cvtech on a buddys 850. I have the clutch removal tool and it was a huge pain getting it off with the correct tool. Once we got it off I was trying to figure out how to hold the new clutch without the new cvtech tool. What I did was removed the plastic 14mm allen bolt from the stator cover and used the allen socket to hold the crank... it is also 14mm. I torqued the new clutch down without issue. Now I have two more clutches to do and and asking is it OK to use this method when taking a primary clutch off? Any issues or possible problems, it seems to be a very easy way of doing these jobs. Any ideas? the picture is a generic photo of a cover so people know what bolt I am talking about on the stator cover, it is plastic.

Kolpin Cabelas plow on 2015 450 L

Hi All, I purchased a Kolpin universal plow from Cabelas the other day and come to find out, the 2015 Outlander 450L is not on the list of ATVs it fits. It seems to fit almost every other model and even the 450L of different years. Anyone tried to mount the Kolpin universal plow blade to a 2015 Outander L 450? I'd like to know if it's a minor issue of modification before I return it or buy a second ATV for plowing. thanks for any replies.

carb leaking

ok today i started my trailblazer and rode around quick them put her away came out an hour later and there was a puddle of gas under the machine and i have fuel leaking from my fuel bowel over flow/vent line thing from there so i turned my fuel off and it stops but when i turn the fuel on it leaks and i dont know whats wrong with it please help!?!?!

I have a 2001 and I seem to remember it was in the 30's when we were last able to ride it?

I changed the speedometer cable and got that working again. With tires off and jacked, the gauge can go way past 60 mph, think it is really spinning the axles that fast?
