I have a 2010 525s and I'm very interestred in making it street legal. I live in Florida, where It's not legal register an Off Highway Use Only vehicle to be street legal. However, there is a company called DirtLegal.com who claims to be able to make it work along with some modifications on my part (blinkers, DOT tires). Has anyone ever heard of this before or know someone who has? I just dont want to get scammed.

2016 Polaris Sportsman 570 Touring

I am looking to buy tomorrow another 2014 Polaris Sportsman 570 Touring

The 2014 has a small issue..doesn't effect the bikes function (running wise) but the fuel gauge is flashing on the dash.
I've read a ton about this...Seems like a common problem for the Polaris bikes.
Should i run from this?? or is an easy fix?

I've looked around the interweb and can't seem to locate for sale the fuel sending unit for sale.

Any advice asap.... Supposed to go pick this bike up tomorrow!!

Have an '11 Griz 700 that hasn't been started in a year due to a dead batt. I'm about to put a new one in and crank her up.


Should I do anything to the engine to prep it for running after sitting for so long? I'm thinking in terms of pre-oiling parts that the oil would have long fallen away from. Would it be a stupid idea to use a turkey baster and put some engine oil into the spark plug hole? Crank it a couple times, replace the plug and then try to start it?


I'm afraid of rubbing metal parts together during the start before the oil pump gets everything lubed.
