Anyone changed out their ECM

I need to replace my ecm from My 09 Outlander. I have found a used one from a 2010. They look to be the same. Numbers vary by the last single digit. And the 2010 has ignition switch mounted on side of it. Anyone out their have any advice for me as to if this one will fit and work?

’04 Magnum 330 winch mount bracket???

I've been rebuilding my '04 Magnum 330 over the last couple of months. Replace the carb, fuel pump, petcock, fuel line, carb boot, air filter, oil filter, new fluids, new brake pads, new ignition switch, repaired the wiring harness (broken wires), hand painted camo over the old/faded/purple factory camo, sanded painted front storage box/rear deck (fiberglass was shedding thru the composite plastic), replacement led light bars, and a newly added halogen rear light (for backing up). I'm recovering the seat this weekend with black marine grade vinyl from JoAnn's Fabric.

As of right now, I'm super impressed that it came together so fast and looks great.

So here's the problem. I was given a new winch for my birthday in August. And I wanted to get it mounted, but I'm having a problem with my bumper. I did a research of the winch brackets from KFI, Warn, etc. They all have similar priced brackets for the Gen-4 atv frames, $50-75 for a bracket BUT NOT FOR THE DUAL TUBE BUMPER. Guess which front bumper I have?...haha.

So does anyone know if Polaris makes a winch mount for the dual tube bumper?(and what the oem part number would be?)

Or what I would have to do to adapt the winch mount to fit the dual tube bumper?

I did search a couple of the polaris parts websites, that have the parts diagrams. But none of them show any winch mounts.

And my local Polaris stealership, has a jackwagon for a parts guy. Since my bike is so old, and NOS parts are getting harder to find, he tells me over and over, not available and moves on to the next customer. Told me once, to check the internet for a forum (how I originally found you guys), and put a request online for parts.

So the question is...OEM winch mount for the factory dual tube bumper?

Ecm

Can anyone tell me if a ecm of a 2010 Outlander will fit a 2009 Outlander. I have pictures of both parts and the numbers differ by only the last digit. I'm just not sure how to post a picture. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

New to the site

Hello all, been reading this site for sometime and finally decided to join. There is so much valuable info from you guys posting .

Quick background on me, I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

Just bought my first quad - 2007 outlander 650 Max XT from a retired forestry guy with bad knees and hips (original owner 865 km meticulously maintained)

I went over all the fluids and filters everything good except - coolant reservoir was near empty - I filled to max level with BRP coolant with machine cold, idled the machine for less than 10 minutes and had the reservoir coolant pissing out of the cap like crazy. Shut the machine off as it cooled reservoir tank slowly went from full to near empty is this an indication of air lock requiring a system bleed or something else

Thanks in advance from all you seasoned owners

Curious How Many Would…

Now that they’ve spent some time on the seat of a Polaris, would switch to Can-Am or other?

Whether it be that this is your first ATV...
Or whether you’d be interested in heading back to a brand you’re familiar with and had better luck with.

TennaKey

Bought a 06 outlander XT 500 HO having gauge issues not sure what to do. Sometimes it works fine then next time you look down guess what it's not ...wth any advice on what to do

Brake bleeding, ugh

Hi. Yes I've read lots on how to bleed brakes.
Just not working for me.
I got a 2012 Renegade 800. Last ride brakes were becoming spongy then slowly had none. Under further looking the Rear brake pads were beyond worn. I replaced them and now I have no brakes. Front works great, back not at all. Left lever and foot go all way to bar with zero resistance.
I have topped up both resevoirs and did the bleeding with hose, everything went well other than it never did build pressure up. I do not have a way to push new fluid from bleeder to bars.
I am using new DOT 4 fluid. Should I just remove both calipers and clean, flush all fluids and try again?
I really don't know why this isn't working but it is frustrating as f@#$ since I have replaced the pads before without an issue.
Thanks for help or suggestions

Can Am 570 Exhaust

I am currently in the search for a new exhaust on my bike. Everyone tells me to go HMF but i've done a bit of research trying to see if looney tuned makes an exhaust for my specific bike. I have the Can Am Outlander 570 base model where the exhaust shoots out of the side of the bike so it's kind of weird when searching for exhaust to make sure they work correctly. If anyone has some info on looney tuned making exhaust for this model bike please let me know and I will take any recommendations on exhaust if you would like to throw that in there to.

Gun case holder

I installed the Canam gun holder on my 2015 Outlander max 800. It is very loose. I assume others have had a similar experience. What are some ways that people have secured this better.
