Hi Y’all!

Just joined and decided to say hello to everyone. I've owned ATVs and MX in the past but this is my first Can Am. Looking for some great info on the Outlander 1000XT. Since I've bought the ATV, I've added rear hitch, front hitch, Warn Wireless Remote and the Flex Plow. I have to say that Can Am has some of the crappiest instructions for items. It took almost 12 hours to install the plow but it's done and it probably won't even snow this year because I bought it.

Looking forward to learning and joining the conversations.

Which carb and line setup for 05 700 sportsman

So for the 05 sportsman 700 I completely rebuilt the carb and am still having issues with fuel out the overflow.

Firs I'm wondering if it's supposed to be an mv7 carb which is currently looks to be in it or if it's the bst34. Or does it not matter.

2nd how are the fuel lines supposed to be setup. It currently has from the pump the line to the tank 2 way. Line to the carb intake nub. And a line to the engine head body. On the pump I know the lines are good but not for sure on the atv.

Please help

Living life

Hello all, not new to forums, but new to ATV's.

My brother and I went together and purchased 2 of the 2018 outlander 400's and a Maverick Trail 800. Haven't used them a whole lot yet, but they will definitely get their time. Always been a wrench head and a car guy so I am cool with the mechanics, but will utilize your help with getting to know the new machines and what they require.

Our plan is to start modding the Maverick to make it better for our wives. We will be doing a lot of trail riding in the forest areas here in Oregon.

Looking forward to chatting and getting to know you.

What Quality of Bearings does one want ?

I had sorta posted this question as part of a string started by another member. But got no responses.

So here is the deal. When seeking out replacement bearings for the "One Way" or even a "Wheel Bearing ", What grade of bearing is at least as good as Stock ?

Is it EMQ quality= electric motor quality ?

Is it ABEC 1 quality ?

Is it ABEC 3 quality ?

Doubt its ABEC 5 quality cause that is bumping into the area of ceramic bearings.

I'm about to do multiple maintenance areas on my 570 max and I'm of a mind set " do it once & do it right" . I don't know this answer & its holding me up from proceeding. Thanks for any help. MMR

Changing transmission fluid in 1997 sportsman 400 4×4

I just bout my first atv and very new to small motor maintenance and repair.I noticed some watter got into the transmission from the breather valve located above the dipstick because it dosent have any housing on it. Can anybody tell me how to do this myself? I downloaded the manual and it's pretty vague on the subject and cant seem to find a youtube video to help either. Need help locating the full plug and drain plug. Or can I fill directly from the hole the dipstick goes in? Going to the polaris dealership in the morning for fluid. Any help would be much appreciated thank you.
