Hi there, new to the forum, and forums in general. I have a 1999 polaris xplorer 400 4x4. 2 stroke with the mikuni vm34ss carb. I have ordered a mikuni vm34-168 carb and I am not finding any information on if that will be a plug and play or not. I know the jetting is all a little different. My question is: can I run that carb without swapping main jet etc and just adjust to work or do I have to swap everything? I know the main jet was 210 on stock and 260 on the new one. 35 both pilots and 2.5 to the stock 1.5.... if someone has already done this please let me know what you did. I was going to rebuild the stock one but most of the parts are worn (like a failed rebuild from previous owner). The machine has 386 hrs and around 2500 miles. Most things work except the speedo and AWD engagement. Thank you for any and all info on this. Looking forward to getting it going again

Bought a used 2014 570EFI. Started at dealer fine. Got home, cranks but wont start. Charged battery, filled gas. Started for about 3 minutes, tried to put in gear and stahls out and now will not restart

Any suggestions on how to get rear prop shaft off. Roll pin it out and still can’t get it to bug

Hey y'all, I'm a newbe. Can anyone tell me why my 2011 sportsman 850xp shifts fine when it's not running, but hardly shifts when it is. Possible clutch problem????

Recently picked up a 96 trailboss. It runs great and all, but only when choke half on. Can't get the choke setting to "full on" to stay in position, so know this needs adjusting first of all. As it runs and idled good while half choked, as soon as I turn choke off, it will no longer idle. My daughter has been riding it just fine while choke is half on, but it bugs me that it doesn't run right with Choke off. How do I adjust?

My recently acquired 96 Sportsman 500 is still not up and running. Put a new battery in it, refilled fuel tank and changed the oil today. Tried to start it and nothing. No lights no buzzing no clicks.....nothing. Voltage good on new battery. Pulled front cover off and found a brown wire BBQ'd. It appears to go to the top of the engine on the right side with a bunch of other wires. I'm assuming this is going to the stator. What is my recommended next step?
