New here! We had taken apart our 2007 sportsman 500 x2 and after a few months have no idea where this bracket goes. Any help would be awesome!
New to the ATV world
Hello everyone, name is Nadeem and I live in Ohio.
Been looking to buy atv for a while now, was looking at the renegade and outlander 800. Never been on an atv before until couple of days ago and they took me to Perry national forest in ohio on a honda 250x with rear brake that lock instantly lol. Then the 2nd half of the day I rode with my buddy in his side by side 450 rzr in which I liked for a couple of reasons. I'm a big dude 280lb and going down steep hill was kinda sketchy and didn't like that much, maybe because of the machine I was using and the day before was raining like crazy and everything was wet and slippery. After that experience I start to re-think my decision on can am after that 250 landed on top of me one time lol. How would the renegade and Outlander handle on those terrains ? Especially going down since that was my biggest concern.
Sorry for the long post

Lubricants
Hi guys, im new to this forum and just got my first 4 wheeler. I picked up a 1993 polaris trailboss 250 2 stroke 4x4. I got a good deal on it and its been a garage kept machine and is in very nice shape. I rebuilt the carb and flushed the tank(found out the petcock leaks like a sieve) anyway i got it running good. I greases all fittings and agdjusted the chains and flushed the brake system. Now i was told by my polaris dealer that it takes 100cc of 10w30 on the counter balance behind the pull starter and 20 oz of agl for the tranny. I forgot to ask if the cluch and hubs take any fluid. Does anyone know if they take fluid and what kind? Thanks in advance for these stupid questions.

Slip on exhaust 850 outlander
I'm in the market for a new pipe for my machine and I'm looking for some guidance. This is my first canam I've owned, I've had grizzlies in the past. My question is can I just purchase a slip on exhaust? Do I need the whole exhaust system? Also do I need the optimizer? I'm thinking an hmf pipe but if anybody has any other suggestions go for it.
Thanks
Thanks
2019 850XMR vent lines
Hey folks, I'm currently in the middle of snorkels on a 2019 850XMR. I hadn't really looked that closely yet until I got dug into it, but I'm shocked at the amount of vent lines under the pod, I was told there would only be three to worry about (front/rear diff, fuel tank). I'd be lying if I said I had the slightest idea of where to start with these. Can I just get some brass M/M couplers and extend them that way? Or do I have to run entirely new lines.
I tried to trace where some of them lead, but they are buried, deep. Also zip tied, in places that are going to an absolute PITA to get to.
This is my first snorkel install, and I'm doing it from scratch. Well, guided by both ARMUSVETS, and Rob Farrow on YouTube.
I have tried searching all evening but I'm not finding any helpful information.

Need some brake help
I have a 2004 Sportsman 700. I lost all brake pressure on my last ride, and now have put new pads on and flushed the fluid. My problem is that when trying to bleed the system, I started at the rear, then right front, then left front, and all will push fluid out when squeezing the hand brake or foot brake. I never got any pressure to build up, and have now realized that fluid is pumping between the 2 reservoirs. If I pump the hand brake, the auxiliary reservoir fills up and leaks from the cap, and vice versa with pumping the foot brake, the handlebar master cylinder fills up to the point it will leak out of the cap. The pressure never builds, the hand brake WILL apply pressure to the pads, but it goes to the handlebar with little resistance.
Here is my question: I'm fairly certain I have a bad master cylinder, but which one? Or could it be both? Its comical how much fluid I have gone through. I do have a mighty vac, and when I pump it, pressure holds, and fluid does come through. I dont know if I'm missing something, or what is going on, but I have been bleeding these brakes off and on ALL DAY. Any help is greatly appreciated, I am fairly mechanically inclined, so if I need to take the MC apart, I'm comfortable with that. I just want to try to avoid buying 2 new master cylinders if I only need one. Or maybe I dont need any, I'm just not bleeding correctly. I'm at a loss! Thank you
