Need advice on warranty extensions

I'm new to the forum and new to Can am. I'm 95% sure I'll be picking up a 2017 Outlander. 1000r XTP tomorrow with under 30 hours. Never been ridden on anything but grass. I will trail ride with little mudding, none most likely. I'm also ordering the clickngo 60" plastic plow for it to do some driveway snow removal this winter.

My question to you guys is that I could transfer the remaining BEST Can Am warranty which has about 3 years left for an extra $1000 above price of quad.

Would you guys spend the extra 1k money for 3 years warranty?

I've seen a bunch of posts going both ways.... that the warranty sucks or is great. Seems to be a dealer issue really.

And is the 3 years warranty worth $1000? He says they can turn it back in and get that much back.

Or could I get aftermarket company warranty for cheaper. I don't know how much they are for like RPMone, which seems to be a popular company on here for good warranty.

Appreciate the help and speed guys, so I can finalize a deal and join the crowd here!

Thanks!

Ranch Ride

Howdy Folks:
I've owned a Polaris Sportsman 500 since 1998. It's getting pretty ragged these days, so in 2016 I picked up a Sportsman 450 HO EPS in green.

It's very similar to my old ride, except for the tires. Actually it out weighs the old 500, and is a few inches larger all the way around.
It's a great tool around the place, but I just couldn't get over the fact of the smaller tires than my old 500, so today I fixed that.

My 450 now has a full set of 14" ITP aluminum wheels, and 26" Kenda Bearclaw tires, and there's plenty of wheel room left under the chassis.

Can am Xmr 800/850/1000 shocks

What year did can am xmr stop having acs shocks? I see for 2018 they have fox podium 1.5/qs3 shocks for the 850/1000, I’m assuming those are not air shocks? I looked on the fox website at specs for the specific shocks and could find anything really. I know might be silly questions but I keep reading problems with the acs air shocks. Any answered questions would be awesome thanks.

Good Deal? Outlander vs Used – New to ATV’s

I'm new to the ATV world. I live in Canada so please consider the Canadian dollar. I'm looking for my first new to me ATV for plowing, hunting and summer trail riding.

I found a deal on a used 2018 CAN AM Outlander XT 570 for $9K out the door with the flex plow. The Outlander has 800 KM - Warranty is until 2023.

Do you consider this a good price? I'm looking at the CAN AM because I also own a Ski Doo and have had a great experience with the dealer.

I'm also looking at older used ATV's as well. I found a 2011 Yamaha Kodiak 450 with EPS for $4200 CAD - It has 3000KM and some extras such as gun boot, aluminum skid plate, gas can, and winch.

Plow with install is going to be about $1,500 so I'm factoring that in on the Yamaha price.

Thanks in advance

2000 Polaris 335 Won’t start

My Polaris 335 won't start and when i try to start fuel is coming out of the overflow. Could it be a clogged fuel filter or do i need to pull the carb and clean it?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Polaris hand warmers – new switch type??

I've had the Pure Polaris hand and thumb warmers on other machines and really like how well they work and the factory appearance of the switches.

Searching for these now, brings up part number 2877363 and the switch shown in the picture is white and round. The switch that has been included in the past is rectangular to fit the factory molded in cutout locations.

I have not yet removed the pod cover from my '18 but from the outside, it appears the factory cutouts are there for the rectangular switches.

**Is there a different part number for the kit with the rectangular switch?

This is what shows up on the Polaris website:

Here is what I've purchased in the past:
