Rear Brake Lights

I have a 2008 Sportsman 800 EFI, i am getting it ready for hunting etc. When checking the lights i noticed that i have no brake lights when just the rear brake foot pedal is used but the brake lights are fine with the front brake lever applied. Is this normal????????

I see no switch or wiring coming off the pedal or rear MC. if the foot pedal doesn't activate the brake light ......The why???????

05 Sportsman 800 efi Coolant leak

Coolant is leaking out the weep hole. I replaced the water pump seal and it still leaks. Could it be how the new seal was installed or something more serious? Any help would be appreciated.

2007 Sportsman 500 EFI Won’t Start

Sportsman sitting in garage for a year. Usually starts up no issues. Won't start now. Cranks fine. Fire with starting fluid sprayed in cylinder. Not getting any fuel to injector with key in "on" position or when cranking. I have the fuel line feed into an old coffee can. I am not a mechanic. Does it sound like the fuel pump went bad?

2004 Sportsman 700 AWD Trouble

Everything was working fine and no work has been done to the bike. Suddenly, AWD is not working in forward gears on my 2004 Sportsman 700. AWD is engaged at all times in reverse regardless of switch position.

Youtube shows grounding issues with the wire harness. I suspect wiring but ground doesn't appear to be my problem. Both wires going to the front differential have 12 volts when the AWD switch is engaged in forward gears.

I want to replace the wire harness coming from the handlebar switch because the bottom wire has cracks in the insulation, but cannot find the part number. Any help trouble shooting is appreciated.

Sportsman 335 Rear Axles – Questions

Just bought this and it did not have the rear axles, it did however have u-joints in the hubs and rear end.
I see online some new axles like 95.00 for a set - that appear to have CV joints with boots.
Did they upgrade to this- I see used axles same way for 35.00-45.00 each, why would you buy used for the low price of the new?

Couple pics swing u-joints still there...

Any input on the rear axles is appreciated..
Thanks

650 Outlander Clutching Questions…

Just got the wife a 2014 650 outlander, 171 miles.

Highest RPM I've seen is 7150, couldn't hold it long without hitting trees... feels sluggish to me.

From what I've read we should be seeing at least 7500, maybe as high as 8000.
We're at about 5000', this usually drops RPM's. On my sleds I adjust the clickers and am done.

Is there a clicker to adjust on the Outlander?

Will a clutch kit help?

I've seen a couple people recommend clutch replacement... this seems excessive.

Thanks!!
