Checking in

Hi there. Wife and I just purchased a 2013 Rzr XP 900 with a stage two kit. We are taking her out to the Oregon dunes in early Oct. Really looking forward to it! And so are the “kids”

How to tell if water pump is dead?

My quad overheated the other day which I found extremely worrying, The fan wouldnt turn on or so I thought. Got it back, fitted a fan override, took it out the next day and did not need the override as the fan came on and off with the thermostate. I plugged it into buds and the sensor was showing the temp, fan kicked in at 97C, its had a new thermostat.

Took it out again, The fan was running but the rad was spilling water so I am wondering how I would know if the water pump had died or was dying? is there a way to check to see if water is being pumped?

HMF tuner settings with stock exhaust

Hello fellas! I am looking to get an HMF tuner and retain my stock exhaust, anyone have suggested settings for this? HMF didnt other that it will probably be too rich from them as they are programmed for their exhaust. Thanks! 2018 570 btw

No bottom and power

I have a 03 sportsman 600 twin it starts awesome when without the choke but once it gets warm it is no power till after about half throttle them it takes off fine. I have checked for vacuum leaks didn't find anything, put a 157 main jet in (it didn't change anything), cleaned the carb, adjusted the float, adjust the air fuel screw, I got it to where no matter what i do it gets worse. Kinda lost on what to do any ideas? Was thinking about maybe the secondary clutch?

2012 Sportsman 850 Idling high and creeping in gear/hard to shift

Alright so a few weeks I had these same issues except the high idle. I took the primary clutch off and checked the one way, its fine. I also took the weights out and sanded them down bc they were sticking. Then I put a new belt on it from eBay and went on a ride a few days later. All my problems were solved. No more creeping, easy to shift, idled perfect. It ran like new all day long. Then all of a sudden it made some weird noise and cut off. Barely wanted to turn over but wouldn't crank and everyone was saying it was hydro locked but I didn't think that was the problem. So I took it home and took the belt cover off to find that my belt had shredded and was wrapped around my primary which was preventing the bike from turning over. So I took the old belt off and put a new quality brand one on it and now it idles way high, very hard to shift, and the secondary is spinning at idle. Im not sure whats wrong. Ive read a lot about clutch alignment but idk how they're supposed to look so I'm not sure if mine are good or not. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sportsman 450HO not charging

Hi all,

I have a 2017 Sportsman 450HO that all of a sudden stopped charging the battery. The bike starts and runs with no check engine lights when its jumper or if I charge the battery with my trickle charger. The Voltage meter on the dash confirms that the charging system is not working as the voltage drops once machine is running. I checked the fuse box and all fuses seem to be fine. I did not check the block fuses. Is there some inline fuse that I might be missing? I'm hoping that its just the rectifier and not the stator. Is this a common issues on these machines?

Thanks in advance
Matt

2002 sportsman 700 flywheel options?

I have an 02 Sportsman 700 with the RM Stator DC conversion it. Well that works but the flywheel dropped the magnets and took out the stator with it. I was going to order the RM stator and wonder if an 04 flywheel would fit if you are using the RM stator. The stator says it fits from 02-06 and someone mentioned in another group said the 04 would not fit because it wouldn't fit the stator. Help?

Issue with the front left tire

Hey guys , I have the 1000xxc renegade. There seems to be some issue with the front left tire ( it’s tipped out on the top ) and that particular tire is wearing faster. It’s getting expensive , just wondering if anyone else had the same issue. I’ve had it to the shop a couple times , they say nothing is wrong.

HELP!
