2000? Polaris Xplorer 250?

I am wanting to get a title for my xplorer and whenever I put the number in most of the online VIN checks, I get back no results.

The only exception I have found so far is a .eu site that says it is a...

I believe it is a 2000(10th digit Y), but not sure if 250 or 300? I want to get it right for the title.
Racks are metal tube - not molded plastic, and no displacement is listed on any stickers. Seat is brown.

What is this burnt plastic in my diff?

Putting in my torq locker and pulled the diff apart. What is this? It’s like burnt plastic, hard but does crumble. In 3 of the 4 holes. 3rd pic shows location of where they were. Circled for yes, x for no. Diff fluid was always clean and changed regularly. Fluid was very clean. Help!

Need a Lift!!! Maverick Trail 800

I have a new 2018 Maverick Trail 800 DPS. My problem is the trails we ride have a lot of rocks and I'm bottoming out and hitting rocks even at very low speeds. 10.5" oem ground clearance. We have owned a bunch of atv's for many years with standard ground clearance. This side by side with a longer wheel base in a very different beast.

Looking any suggestions to lift the unit by two or three inches.

Two 2018 Outlaw 50’s Keep Shutting Off

I’m having an issue with two brand new 2018 Polaris Outlaw 50’s. One ran great since purchase (3/27/18) while the other acted up from day one. It would immediately fire up with a single press of the start button, run for about 30ish minutes then shut off. A little toying with the choke/throttle and it would fire up but only run about 10-15 minutes before shutting off again. Then the toying with choke/throttle would take longer to get it started only to have it run a few minutes less each time before cutting out and not restarting at all. It would just turn over but never start/fire up. I let it sit overnight, it fires right up the next day only to have the whole process start again. Day after day. After 3 months I brought the one cutting out to the dealer, explained the situation and left it with them. A few days later I went to pick it up. They say that nothing is wrong with it but that they cleaned the carb and charged the battery. I brought it home, ran it the next day and it started happening again after 30ish minutes. Low and behold, the second one that never had an issue also started cutting out that same day. They both start up the next morning, run about 20/30ish minutes then cut out. Get them restarted, they run about 10 minutes and cut out. Then, no more starting. They just turn and turn but never catch/fire. Can anyone offer any help?

2018 xmr 650

Brand new to the forum and this is my first post, I just purchased a 2018 xmr 2018 today and I am picking it up friday. Is there anything that I should have the dealer install while the machine is there at the dealership, preventative action so I dont have to bring it in a week from now. I have read about the air box issue so is there a fix the dealer can do? Any advice or suggestions are greatly appreciated, thanks again.

Extra Part Leftover

Removed my Primary VForce clutch, stock secondary clutch and the clutch cover backplate. After putting it back together, found this washer / spacer under the ATV. Any idea where it came from and where it goes back on?

Sputtering???

2005 700 sportsman its Carb. It is running a little rish but I was wondering after I pull Carb Off and celan it if it doesn't fix it is there anything in particular that could possibly cause this problem? it runs great and then im putt putting around and try nailing into throttle and it will start sputtering help somebody!!

550 xp motor blown?

Took my ‘09 550 xp out recently and after only 5 minutes I notice it wouldn’t accelerate up the hill I was climbing. Got to the top and let off the throttle and that was it. Pulled the dip stick immediately and while there was plenty of oil in there there was a lot of smoke coming out too.
About a month ago I adjusted the valves for the first time and maybe have 15 hours on it since. Total of 250 hours on the whole machine. I pulled the valve cover and everything looks tight still, I can not turn the motor over by hand, the starter will turn it but only for 2 seconds and then struggles.
Not sure what it needs yet Burbank I am struggling to find rebuild kits for this machine

2013 Sportsman 400 HO Cold Start Too Long

Hi all, I recently picked up a low hours 2013 Sportsman. Its been great with the exception of Cold Start. I leave the gauges on Tach when starting.. I crank for about 5 full seconds and it reaches 500 rpms before I let go. There is no sign or hint of starting on the first try. I do it again and release at about the 500 rpm mark (5 sec) and it barely catches and after a few seconds runs stable.

However once warmed up if I shut it off and restart it a few minutes later it starts almost immediately. Less than a sec of cranking. It runs strong and responsive once warmed up. I tried to choke it a few times on the first cold crank and that usually ends in making the problem worse. I un-choke it and then it takes like 4 or 5 tries to get her going after that.

Soooo.. Is she too rich to begin with ?

I already ran a half tank of Seafoam and then added some to a full tank which I just started on..

Sportsman 850 Shifter splines

Hey everyone back to it with another problem I have on my sportsman. If you seen my previous post of how i got it stuck back in January, at that same time my shifter stripped out, which it has done before and I just replaced the bellcrank and kept on moving however this time the whole shaft from the motor stripped out so now I need to replace it. However I have never broke down the motor before and would like any insight of how to go about it and maybe how hard it is to replace the part if anyone has any knowledge of it.

Before anyone says just take it to a repair shop just know I'm a simple country boy on a budget so spending several hundred on just labor is not an option for me right now.
