Ever since I bought my 2010 Outlander 800R about 3 years ago I have a problem that it starts easily then stops after a few seconds. I keep starting and each time it runs for a little longer until eventually it keeps running but is pulsing for a while until it warms up.
Can anyone suggest what to do. Could it be a dirty fuel filter, choke not working, Faulty fuel pump? After it warms up it is fine and starts again easily. If it is left for a few hours it takes two or three starts. If not used for days it can take about ten starts before it runs without stopping.

Is it possible to use 05 and Up wiring harness and CDI with a 2003-2004.
I got a Predator 500 as a project. The previous owner said "problem with electrical". Well once I brought it home, and after further research, it turns out I have an 05 TLD chassis, but a motor with no reverse. I know the easiest route to go is to get an 03-04 harness with CDI. But my question is, is it possible to use 2005 wiring with a 2003 motor?

I have a 2008 Sportsman 300, when I go down a pretty good grade the atv doesn't slow down so I have to stay on the brake if I want to go slow. Does the engine brake on these atv's work that well? I bought the atv 6 months ago and don't really know much about the engine braking part of it. I am pretty good mechanically but in the manual it says the tranny needs to be removed etc. to get to the braking clutch so I'm guessing a project if I have to get inside. Has anyone done that and is it hard or easy etc.?

I replaced my timing chains and now when I slide the flywheel onto the crank it goes past lining up with the other gears and hits the timing chain guide retaining bolt or the timing chain its self. What am I missing?

My quad creeps in gear....idle is very low...belt is in very good condition...those are not the issue

researched here and watched youtube vids about similar problems with varying advice and remedies...tried all that seem to fit my situation....today, I pulled the clutch casing again to try the latest fix....lubing up the various components of the clutch and working it back and forth on the spindle...while doing so, I noticed that it doesnt come out all the way, maybe a 1/4'...i have attached pics to show it...when I pull on it trying to get it to come further out, it stops dead hitting something metal but I cant see exactly where...I am stumped as how to fix this...can someone tell me if the gap in the pics is normal or is there something blocking it and preventing it from returning out all the way?...any and all help, advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Just picked up our new Outlander Max 570 XT.

I added a windshield (not sure about the exposed handle bars now that the XT cover is off), gear grips (any suggestions on where to mount for carrying a rifle?), and the 8 inch rear rack extension. Ordered the cargo container that goes in the space the 2up seat leaves when not installed (found it odd it didn't come with).

Anxiously awaiting the snow to melt so I can take her out and break her in! Would love to hear from other ATVers from the BC Interior.

Hey all, first Can Am, have had Honda, Kawasaki, and Yamaha. I picked up a MT 1000 DPS in red

So I bought a 2017 Sportsman 850 Touring and it is great. One issue is those rear handles. While on a flat road they are fine but get into a little bumpy area and my wife's legs/hips bump into the side handles. There is no way to adjust so I was thinking of adding padding. Has anyone come up with a solution? We never had this problem with the Arctic Cat TRV.
