Hey -- I was wondering if one of you could give me some advice on my son's Outlaw 110. In back they have this little cage like think under the chain and rear break, ostensibly to protect them from rocks and such. The thing drastically reduces ground clearance -- without it ground clearance could be around 7 inches instead of 4. I'm tempted to remove it, but then of course the risk of some rock bashing the chain or rear axle or brake rises. What do you think? Or is there a skid plate out there one could put in place of it that doesn't go so far down? Seems to me you could have a protector there that does the job but only reduces ground clearance by an inch or so instead of 3. My son and I ride rocky forest trails in Missouri and he's getting caught up by that thing in back a bit too often.

We All Have That One Friend… + VideoMore than likely, we all have that one friend who takes a seemingly minuscule task and has to “liven” it up either for their own enjoyment or in hopes of drawing attention. As best we can tell, these guys are simply trying to pull this stuck SUV out of the mud. Why the guy is […] more
Brand New 2018 Polaris Outlaw 110
Just picked up a Brand New (Still in the Crate) 2018 Polaris Outlaw 110 EFI for an AWESOME Price. (Went through the Costco Discount Program but the dealership said they can beat that price!!)
Bike even comes with a Matching Polaris Helmet - how cool is that!!
So far - very happy with the purchase - Only ridden about 1 hour around the neighborhood. I set the throttle screw in about half way and according to my phone GPS he's maxing out at 14mph.
I'll give him a few weeks to get use to the bike before increase the speed slowly (Top Speed is around 29mph).
I did however had to do some "Maintenance" work even though the bike is Brand New. I trust no one when it comes to maintenance work.
* Added about 6 pumps of grease into all 6 Zerk Points up front
* Minor adjustment to the rear brake lever for optimal performance
* Adjusted both the left and right side front brake lever - had a little too much freeplay
* Added Chain Wax to the Chain
* Change the spring settings to "Firmest" for both the 2 front springs and 1 rear spring - this should give a little more ground clearance without feeling too stiff. (I couldn't tell the difference)
* Hooked up a Battery Tender
* Took off all the "Unnecessary" stickers of the bike and add my own :)

New Owner Accessories Discount Coupon?
Hi all - did anyone receive in the mail a "discount for accessories" coupon/card shortly after buying their new Can Am from a dealership?
I could have sworn I received one in the mail but can't find it... I thought it was like 10 or 20 percent off purchase of accessories. Before I call my dealer and inquire I just want to make sure i'm not confusing this with something else (or dream it!) - did any of you guys receive something similar?

Just picked up 2016 Outlander 570 XMR
I'm new here and kinda new to the ATV world. I just picked up a slightly used 2016 Outlander 570 XMR. What are the basics I "need to" or "should" know? I am just trying to build my knowledge about this bike before I start running it.
thanks...
thanks...

Is Trike Racing Making a Comeback? + Video
Is Trike Racing Making a Comeback? + VideoWe’re pretty sure that 3-wheeler racing will never enjoy the popularity it had achieved during the glory days of the 1980s, but there’s no doubt the “old” machines have had a bit of a resurgence in recent years. A handful of national ATV Motocross events host trike classes as does the Motorama event held annually in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Check out […] more
Cleaning EPS Connections
What's the best thing to us when cleaning the EPS connections, would WD-40 be alright? Every time I get into a lot of water on my Sportsman 850 the power steering get's real shaky until it dries out and after the last big ride I went on the check engine light comes on and from the code it show's it has something to do with the power steering so I'm hoping after I clean it well and put some dielectrical grease in it all will be good again. Any thoughts would be helpful.
