I am looking for a smaller ATV for my wife, and daughter to use. I found a yellow 2004 Outlander 400, with just under 5000K miles on it, it also has a windshield and 2-up aftermarket seat (not the Max model), the plastics look good.

What do you think a good price would be for a bike like this? (I am in Vermont)

Anything I should watch out for when I look at it in person?

What are the clear drain tubes on the left side of an xmr 570 outlander... and should they be drained if it looks like there is something in them?

I have a 2005 Scrambler 500 4x4 that needs new front drive shafts (CV axles). I ordered a set that were supposedly for this model, but they're too short and impossible to install. I have since contacted several other vendors asking for the overall length of the axles they offer. Even though they claim they're for my bike and are the correct parts, they are all the same length as the first set I received (20.5"). I can't find anyone who has the correct axles for this bike.

Is there a source for these axles in the correct length?

Can anyone give me insight on using the zillas in snow. I like the tread depth on the zillas and the weight. Bad side is I ride some pavement and plow quite a bit of snow with my 04 700 sportsman. My next option would be bighorns but I'm not liking the tread depth on them, would like them deeper. Also the bighorns are heavier as far as i can tell. When I'm talking about the bighorns I am referring to the OG's not the 2's. Next question would be, will I be able to run 27s on this wheeler without any problems, no rubbing and such. Also I'm thinking of upgrading to an aftermarket aluminum wheel such as the ss111,112, or something on that order.

Has anyone ever had water get in the air box from washing just with a garden hose
I did a good wash and clean pulled the seat to clean and check air filter and found water in air box enough to get filter damp I haven't rode in any deep water feet haven't got wet

Can someone explain what that is? It looks like a proprietary mounting system for accessories? It seems like the accessories are very pricey - suggestions for retrofitting other storage (like can you buy the mounting hardware?).
