2002 Polaris 250

Hi everyone I have a 250 polaris trailblazer I have been riding it about everyday for the past 6months. I went for a 7 mile ride one morning parked it then about an hour later drove it again. Only this time it seemed like by the time it got warm it shuts right down. If I wait a few minutes it'll start right up. And I can ride for about 20 minutes and it shuts down again. It starts up first turn of the key every time what could this be

1997 Sportsman 500 HO update

I have a 1997 polaris Sportsman 500 and was wondering what I needed to preform a proper HO update. I heard all you need is a camshaft from an HO and an HO carb. Will the carb fit with the boots and hoses currently on my non HO?

2003 sportsman 700 problems

So i have posted a couple times on the maint. and repair forum on this site, but not getting much help, I have a 2003 sportsman 700 that is getting coolant in the oil. found the problem to be the rubber sided washer behind the impeller for the water pump was installed incorrectly, question is can i just replace the rubber coated washer or do i need to replace the seals in the water pump again. Going to put a new impeller in it to seems how the plastic one got chewed up a bit from the washer being installed incorrectly, going to go with a machined aluminum instead of plastic now. second question is how hard is it to rebuild the primary clutch on this particular machine? I can get the rebuild kit for the clutch for under $200.00 online. Cant find a rebuilt one for it anywhere. Thanks for any and all help....Bob

Monster EFI flash

I have a Power Commander V now yoshi exhaust, twin air filter and snorkel. I'm thinking about getting the monster ECU flash. Would I still be able to run my PCV with a refreshed ECU or would that be a waste? Clutches will be next year along with other goodies. Getting 2" bar risers right now too. Please let me know your thoughts on the Monster.

Another electrical issue on my 2015 sportsman 570

Had bad regulator last year. Replaced it, and all was well... till now. Noticed I was losing voltage again and machine died. Found positive connection on battery was very loose, to the point it had slightly melted the plastic on the battery just under the terminal. Enough to send me out for a new battery. Before installing the battery I figured hey, may as well do my maintenance (oil, air and grease). So I stripped everything down. I Wanted to start it up to warm the oil before draining and while connecting the new battery I happen to be leaning on the 3 yellow wires from the regulator and they were way hot. I quickly disco the battery and SMH. To my surprise I notice the connector from Regulator to Stator wire is melted. Problem is, I don't know if this happened while I had the loose battery connection or when I went to hook up the new. So with the regulator now disconnected from the stator harness, I connect the new battery and have 12.8 VDC at the VR connector. How can I check that there is/isn't a problem with the stator now that I can't connect the 2. All wires (regulator side and stator side) seem to be fine. Not melted or disfigured. Just the connectors burned up beyond the point of mating. Am I able to just replace the connectors? Or do I need a new VR and Stator? If I need to replace the stator, is the case that is housing the flywheel and stator dry or filled? I've seen videos on the 700 that show the 700 is dry but with the coolant hose connected to this cover, I assume that's not the case with mine. Trying to avoid opening a can of worms and taking it to a dealer. Any info would be appreciated.
