2000 scrambler 500 4×4

I recently replaced my piston ring along with my valves compression springs, oil seals over the guides and valve keepers and all gaskets we're replaced because of an issue with blue smoke out the exhaust. I went by the book during this repair, did everything required. It now runs perfectly with a good steady idle and it climbs rpms no problem and the blue smoke is gone:D .......BUT lol I'm noticing some white smoke coming out of the exhaust now only after running for a couple minutes, not a lot but It gradually gets worse. I'm thinking that Im burning fuel. But what I don't know is if Im just burning all of the oil I used while assembling and what not. Or if I'm not burning all the fuel being injected. The weird thing is that the white smoke is coming out right at the tip of the exhaust manifold even with the rest of the exhaust system assembled. Which leads me to believe that I've got fuel going up the exhaust guides while they're open and is burning up immediately when it hits the hot manifold. I avoided a pretty huge repair bill doing this job myself and I took my time and babied the damn process. Lol I guess I'm just wondering how many people think it's completely normal for crap to burn up after a rebuild and I need to give it time or that my fuel isn't being properly burnt up for whatever reason.

Polaris 90 dies at idle, bogs down under throttle

I've got a 2004 Polaris 90 I got cheap and am trying to rehabilitate for my kids. When I first got it, it would only run with the choke on. I pulled the spark plug which was black but in surprisingly good shape. The air filter was also in pretty good shape. Pulled the carb and it looks brand new. Cleaned it out anyway, made sure the jets were clear, etc., Put on a new fuel line between the petcock and tank, and the gas seems to flow freely.

Put everything back together, kicked it over, and it started right up without the choke on. Started to give it gas and it died immediately. Started it again and it idled ok, but died when I tried to give it gas.

Adjusted the air screw (so many times I forget which setting I was on) and got it to where the engine would idle, and I could apply gas and take off. Under heavy throttle it was bogging down (too lean or too rich I can't tell), but when I brought it back to idle it would die.

Tried adjusting the throttle slide stop screw and nothing really happened, except once or twice when a slight adjustment coincided with the engine dying.

Starting to chase my tail here. I'd really appreciate any insight as would my kids!

2007 Sportsman 500 Studs

Hello everyone,

Ordered a set of MSA Diesel wheels and 27" Mega mayhem tires, the machine originally had steel wheels on it, so I found out the factory wheel studs aren't long enough, so I ordered part #7518378 that are suppose to be Polaris studs for aluminum wheels, well they still aren't long enough?

Is there something I am missing? is there a longer stud yet I need to get?

I ordered everything thing from Rocky Mountain ATV and even they said I had the right wheels, lug nuts and I ordered the right new studs?

If anyone can help please let me know right now I have a set of new wheels and tires I cant mount.

Thanks!

Whip mount on gade?

Any of you guys run whip flags?
If so, where are you mounting them?
If I get a Wildboar rear rack, I could mount it there but I’m having a hard time finding a bracket that fits a square tube.
Any suggestions?

Clutch?

Greetings. I just got a 2018 Defender Max Lone Star and I'm wondering if an aftermarket clutch would make a noticeable difference.

I have factory tires, but may go a bit bigger. Vehicle serves as a bus to carry 4-6 people in generally hard dirt and rocky terrain with occasional muddy water crossings.

What's your experience, guys?

Thanx.
