Watch an air jet keep a motorcycle from wiping out

The future will be cool, because it has motorcycles with jet thrusters. No, not flying motorcycles, they're still very much ground vehicles. But they're still really cool, because they could save you some nasty injuries and expensive repairs.

Need diameter and thickness of front brake rotor, 03 predator

Hi, Anyone know or can measure on their machine the front brake disc dimensions (diameter and thickness) on a 2003 polaris predator 500? I want to convert the brake system on a very old JD AMT 600 from cable pull to hydraulic and can get the complete system from a wrecked 03 predator so am trying to verify the replacement caliper will fit over the JD rotors and be large enough. Thanks for any help.

2006 polaris sportsman 500 x2

Now that I have this thing all tore apart, I now have some more questions.
1. When I turn the key on there is some type of sensor or something electrical on the left side of the carburetor that clicks several times (rapidly) like a switch clicking on and off, it will stop and as long as the key is in the run position it will repeat. What is this, and would it have anything to do with the digital display not coming on, and keep it from running?
2. If the fuel pump runs is it ok? yes it pumps. I have the pump out and dont know weather to put it back or not.

New to site, 2014 Sportsman WV850

Hi, I'm new to forums and new to this site. Just bought 2014 Polaris WV850 Sportsman. Looking to install lift kit, 28" super ATV terminator tires, and snorkels, but I am very new to this and I am having problems to buy any aftermarket parts as all aftermarket parts stores are telling me that my model # dosen't match up. WV850 is some kind of military limited edition or something, any ideas to help me out? Is there any easy way to order aftermarket parts for this thing, like maybe the suspension is the same as a regular sportsman 850. Also, when installing a lift kit, do I need to adjust or install primary/secondary clutch (for more torque)? The parts stores did tell me they can match up a replacement belt, but that it is a different belt than a regular sportsman 850(they would not sell me clutch kit because of this). They all told me to go straight to Polaris Dealer because they can't match up any parts. Polaris Dealer told me they can easily get me stock factory parts, but they don't really sell aftermarket lift kits and clutch kits, etc. Why is this all so difficult, has anyone else had these problems or have a WV850 that they have upgraded?

Transmission oil change 2011 sportsman 500

Hey there, i'm about to change the oil on my 2011 Sportsman its a 500 H.O. and before i get to doing anything, i am trying to find where to drain and fill the transmission. The dran plug has been found but where is the fill plug at? Do i need to hit this thing with the water hose again? I'm guessing it will be easily found after i ask this question but so far, i can't find it to save my life.

a tuner without adding exhaust?

Hello gents! I am new to the can am world, have always been a honda guy. Anyway, I got a 2018 570 a couple months ago and love it! I have read these machines run lean from the factory and run hot. I have wrapped the exhaust which help with the heat on the plastics. I see alot of guys add a slip on and tuner which gives more power and ability to change the lean setting. I really do not want a loud exhaust, so my question is can I simply put on a tuner and change the tune less rich without an exhaust? Will it help?

Thanks!

Replacing bearings and seals on rear torsion arm

I will be replacing the REAR BEARINGS AND SEALS for the third time in 2000 miles. The year of ATV is 2014 1000 Outlander XT. I'm pretty anal how I keep my ATV clean and in good condition. First set wore out at about 900 miles, had the my DEALER do the job. $277.00. Was told at that time there was lots of water contamination inside Torsion arms was thought to be the reason for Bearings failing. So when I cleaned my ATV this time I took precaution not to spray that area when cleaning. Was told here on some did not like BRP bearings so I tried out All Balls. The Dealer had no problem with my request. No difference with All BALLS, 2000 miles and the new set going back into ATV will be BRP. I sent a E-Mail off to BRP with my concerns that these bearings in my opinion are failing too soon. They in returned sent a E-Mail back stating that they appreciate all feed back they get and because the ATV is out of warranty at this point there is nothing they can do. Well I returned an E-Mail stating DAH! NO KIDDING WARRANTY IS OUT. They sent me an on line survey to grade them on how I like their Customer Service. I guess they were interested because this Monday morning I received a phone call from BRP Customer Service. They wanted me to understand they could not help me because there was no warranty, still on this crap ideal thinking. I told BRP I'm not worried about the dam warranty, but the fact you need to get some better quality Bearings and Seals for the Rear Torsion Arm. I told BRP I was not the only one with this problem. All they wanted to talk about was the fact that there was no warranty. I held my cool and told BRP, stop talking about the stupid warranty, I want you to back to who ever and find a better solution to why these bearings fail. I personally would like some how to get some grease into them. As of now I'm not impress with BRP and their ATV. The Dealer I use I have no problems with and I know the Mechanic.
