Hey guys, just looking for some performance advice. I have a 2011 renegade 800 xxc with roughly 4700 kms on it. It's a stock machine and with the new 1000 xmr renegades starting to pop up in my area it's starting to seem like it's not as impressive anymore. I was thinking of selling my machine and buying a new one but after a good tune up my bike is working great and I believe it still has lots of life left. What I'm looking for is basically what would you do? I'm thinking maybe an exhaust, programmer, clutch, 2 inch lift and 28 inch tires. Mine is still the G1 chassis so do you think its worth pumping up the power and lifting to try and run with an xmr? Or will I just pay a lot of money to break parts and still fall short on power? Any advice is much appreciated. This won't be happening over night as I want to thoroughly plan it all out if I do decide to upgrade. Exhaust would be my first purchase. A friend of minexpensive just bought a Yoshimura for his 2013 800 xxc and it sounds awesome but maybe there's better out there? Once again thanks in advance.:grin:thumbsmilie:
Power steering
I have a sportsman 570 with out power steering, if I get the parts for the power steering and install them can I use the same computer I have for my EFI bike?
I know I can also get the aftermarket kit as well. I was hoping to not add one more computer to the bike.

Signals and Horn
My son asked for signals and a horn. Rear signals LED’s are mounted “in” light fixture. About $85.00 for everything. Picked Mouser pins and will try to connect signals to Instrument Cluster.

Is this a good deal on a 450 DPS ?
$6,000 with two year warranty and no dealer fees . Any info on the 450 would be great . Will use for trail ridding and light mudding .
17 Sportsman 850 (CHecking for Trouple Codes)
Help needed. My 850's check engine light came on the other day. I was told there is a method of pulling trouble codes up on the display. Is this true? I'm looking through the manual and can't find anything on how to do it.
2015 outty 1000 high temp/limp home mode.
What are most causes for this, hightemp limp home mode, to occur? I've done some research on these forums and others, it would just be nice to have a list to refer too so I can check everything over and try to figure out what's going on with my outty! I'm going to go home today and remove the rad completely, give it a good wash, then check my thermo and water pump are working good. Any other ideas on what I can do or check on 'er? Any ideas will help!
This problem has happened before but most times it was just a plugged rad from mud, so it was surprising to see it was clean, with my coolant level at a good level. The only other thing I did/changed on the outty was the rear wheel bearings before this problem occurred.
Any help and ideas will help boys!

Crud Stoppers
I just ordered these for my XP 850.... They are supposed to seal up the wheel bearing area from mud and water and triple the life of you're wheel bearing's. For 35.00 I figured I'd give them a shot. Found them on Facebook so we will see how it goes.
