After talking to folks about atv or utv I'm considering just going straight to a utv.......now I have to decide if I want 500/570/700/800? Anyone have suggestions good or bad on models? I've found a used 2010 800 XP for around $6500 with 4500 miles on it....is that a decent model and price....issues with such?

2008 Sportsman 500 HO EFI.

While finishing up some other projects preparing for winter, my gauge stopped working. First start up, it worked, I let it run for a few minutes. Then upon restarting, only the backlight displays. No other text, nothing. Since that happened, now the speedo won't turn off with the ignition. Just stays lit. I had to pull the fuse to stop it from draining the battery.

Has anybody had this happen before? What could be the issue? How did you fix it?


I'm also on amazon looking for a new gauge (just in case). The one posted specifies 2005, but the part number is the same as mine. Are they interchangeable? Only the face looks different.

So what is the deal with a single brake caliper in the rear? This doesn't seem like the best idea, is it an issue on what. I do realize the rear wheels are essentially locked together but ..... What have you guys decided about this, is it an issue or not?

Anybody know the going rate for a new 2017 outlaw 50? I did the email quote, but they quoted me a price for a 2018 which was $2200. All the local used ones are going for gold, so I was curious what I could pick up a new '17 for. Thanks

I just picked up a Can Am Outlander 400 and the speedo does not work. I was considering just replacing it with one of this trail tech units.


Anyone ever replaced it with one of these units?

I just picked up a 400 Can Am Outlander and have not owned a quad for over 20 years and brand new to the Can Am world. Hoping to learn some stuff from the pros on this forum!

For the people that had the R. side heat fix done-Are you noticing heat issues popping up somewhere new?
Wires melting Plastics distorting, signs of excessive heat build up where it wasnt before?
Havent had the service done yet, but definitely considering it in spring. Dont mind extra heat while ice fishing

Need some help folks, Trying to adjust the headlights on a 18 HD8. I found the screws the book says to adjust but they do not move..They are shining up in the trees. Thanks ....
