Rock crawling is a game of inches. One wrong move, a sudden blip of the throttle or a tap of the brake could spell disaster and that could have happened multiple times to the driver in this video. Clearly he knows what he’s doing because he was able to back it down off this crazy steep obstacle without […] more

Updated XMR front Diff

Hey Guys,
Just had the front diff replaced under warranty on my 16 XMR 1000. The dealer told me Can Am just issued a new part number ( 703500908) and they installed this in my machine.
It acts like a full time locked front diff, in fact I have yet to see it or feel it unlock. Steering in 4 wheel drive is noticeably harder even with the DPS on max. I'm curious if anyone else has this part number and experienced the same thing or if this indication of a issue with the new diff? Thanks for the help!

anyone know much about polaris snowmobiles?

i have a 1999 polaris xc 500 and I'm trying to find out if the cylinders have a nikasil coating on them or are the able to be honed or bored if necessary for over sized pistons ? I believe it wasn't until the 500 xcsp came out they had the plated cylinders but I don't want to find out the hard way ,mine is the first year of the liberty engine as I know the Fuji 500 in the previous indys were boreble iron lined sleeves any help would be great !

New g2 brp skid plates

Sorry for another skid plate thread, but I've done a ton a research and have it narrowed down to brp plastic or ricochet aluminum skid. Most of the threads I found are a little older, so wondering on the newer g2s are the brp full skid improved? I like the idea of plastic and look better but ricochet seems to be liked by everyone, and it seems gen1 brp skids weren't liked all that much. Thanks

2018 X3 maxx XRS limp mode

Hey all,
We purchased this about 1 month ago and we have 420 miles on it. Yesterday we went on a 26 mile trip and while accelerating the drive belt exploded. Of course I didn?t have a spare. My buddy was at camp and went to a store and bout me two so I now have a spare.

Anyway, I was crusing along after the belt change to break in the new belt not going over 40. All of a sudden I looked down and the engine light is on and it is in limp mode. I stopped check oil, air filter, wiring etc. and everything seems fine. I started it and we were on our way. The engine light cleared and then came on a few minutes later and we were back in limp mode.

I checked the engine codes and it says there are none stored. I am taking it to dealer on Thursday i hope they can fix it. I will keep you updated. Rant over
