Axle questions.

Alright y?all I?ve searched for a couple hours now. Are all the g2 high horsepower bikes the same part number for axles? Will a 1000xmr use the same axles as a 1000xxc or a 850xxc? No where can I find a diffinitve answer. Also does anyone know the parts number of the axles for the auto parts stores? Buddy needs two front axles for his 16 1000 xmr renegade. I found two used ones for 50 bucks a piece but they are off a 14 1000 xxc. Will they fit?

Rattling from steering

Hello... I have an '03 bombardier traxter max, and there is a rattling noise from the front end. It's been here for a while, and you can't feel it, so we were just gonna let it be. Our only concern is getting back i n the woods and something breaking. Any ideas?

no need for angle drive fluid?

Hey
well finally got to stop by a polaris dealer and wanted to get new belt and fluids to complete my tune up of my new to me 2006 sportsman 500 efi
talking to the guys behind the counter I'm told to use the agl fluid not only for the transmission but also the rear drive as it only takes a bit and the two bottles will be enough for both.
ok I say so got home and started to take the step plates off and found the transmission fill and drain plug easy. done only really took one bottle. so I looked at the rear gear box area and low and behold no fill or drain plug. now I did youtube and some models have a rear drain and fill plug but looking at my manual via online it doesn't show in the fluid change section only oil, front demand drive and transmission area in the middle.
I have a full bottle left for later though I wonder why I don't have a rear drive section like the others
I put in a new belt and used small amounts of compressed air to clean out the clutch area and took for a spin.. kinda noticed alittle better in running the gear shifting from park to low doesn't seem as clunky .
my old belt wasn't too bad little dry and some cracks.
so for those who have a 2006 sportsman 500 efi , am I missing something or the agl fluid is for transmission and rear and it is all connected via the one fill and drain plugs in the middle that I already did.
thanks
Glenn

NEW Shocks recommendations

I have blown my forth 850 XP OEM front shock. Back shocks are doing great. The bad ones have lost the gas charge and cavitate while riding and no signs of oil leaking. I see Fox and Walker Evans do not have a cross. I have found that Bronco has a shock, but I don't know anything about them. Any advise for new shocks would be a help.

Dripping oil from front differential!

Hey guys I have owned quite a few CanAms and this is the first time I have had a problem. What is going on is I have a 2015 Renegade 1000 XXC and have 400 miles on her, last weekend we went for a 80 mile ride in the mountains and when I got back to the truck noticed a small amount of oil dripping out of my front differential where the drive shaft goes into the differential. Just wondering if it is much of a job to replace the seal on the differential? I am looking for someone that has replaced the seal and hoping I can get some good tips on how to approach this job before I tear into it.
Thanks in advance

Purchasing 1999 Sportsman 500 low miles

Making a trip to pick up a mint condition 1999 500 with about 900 miles on it. Owned by older lady that rode it to get the mail and go to the neighbors. Never dirty except the tires

Given it's age there are some things I should be checking. I know the CV boots and general suspension stuff but anything else that deteriorates with 20 years of age that I should be digging into?

Thanks in advance!

2007 Scrambler 500 carb issues

New to the forum and I apologize for the long post, but here goes.....

My brother has an 07 Scrambler 500. He had carb issues with his old carb, so he decided to buy a new one. We put the brand new carb in, and it still has gas leaking out of the overflow when the quad is running.

We took the carb off and apart. Checked everything including float height. Put it back on, and the problem is still there.

He has a 1 year warranty on the carb, so I told him to just get another new one. My question is, if we get another new one and the problem still persists, what next?

He also has one more strange issue. When he comes up to a stop on the trails, the quad will die. We have adjusted the idle speed many times, but it does not solve the problem. When he is sitting at idle and the fan kicks on, the idle drops to the point the quad will die. Should we be replacing the voltage regulator or looking at the stator?

Any help on these 2 issues, would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
