Is there a fuse or circuit breaker panel on this model and if so where is it located? (I have been looking and do not see one and the owners manual does not mention it) Thanks
No Power/speed
I have a 2016 Sportsman 570 efi. I was ridding on a road with the throttle wide open and it just dropped to about 40mph and would not go faster. It's running smooth, just no power 3/4 to full throttle. Won't go past 5400rpm unless it's going down hill. Its like something is holding it back ir restricting it. Before this happened my fan kicked on after 1.8 miles of easy to slow ridding and my pipe was hot. Usually doesn't kick on or heat up that fast. I had cleaned the rad not too long ago bur its not clean clean. Air intake and fulter look good. Any ideas? Thanks.
2007 sportsman 450 front shock
So I had this wheeler given to me and so far I've had to replace the starter and all four tires and when I was jacking it up to put the new tires on I noticed that the one of the coil overs was broke in two spots, I ordered a new shock and spring on e bay and now I'm starting the project my only real question is if I will have to pull the whole wheel assembly (bearing and hub) or can I take it all off without having to do that and just pull the spring and shock out of the strut mount going to the wheel assembly, what would be the easiest route with this any help would be greatly appreciated

2018 Sportsman 1000 Hunter Edition – Start up
I just purchased 2018 XP 1000 Hunter Edition and so far I am loving it. I am coming from a 570 and the power band is amazing. My question it that it seems like when I start up the machine it starts “rough”. When the starter engages there is a Pretty noticeable shake before it starts up. Is this because of the high compression in the motor? I am coming from 570’s and it is definitely different. The big bore cranks right up appears to run fine after starting.
I don’t know if this is typical but If anyone could chime in to ease my mind on my new ride I would appreciate it.

Miles and hours
Somebody please educate me! I want to buy a RZR side by side and am looking at used ones. I am confused as to why they have hours and miles.
Sportsman 570 with polaris plow ‘alignment’ question
Hello, I picked up a brand new sportsman 570 today from the dealer that has a polaris winch and plow assembly already installed. After I got home I noticed the plow looks angled a little bit to the right. The angle selector pin is in the middle, so the plow should be perfectly square I would think. Is this normal, or is there a way to adjust it? I did not get any plow paper work from the dealer. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Thanks

Brand new 1000 highlifter first ride thoughts
I never get involved with online anything but since I dug so deep into reviews and such before I bought my 1000 sportsman highlifter I'm gunna say my two cents because i wish i read an honest review like yoi are about yo recieve. Here is what i thought after putting my first solid 3 hours into breaking in my new bike.
I'm 25 years old, iv owned Polaris most my life, owned 850 sportsman xp, owned 800 s and 900 s rzrs, was due for a new machine.
Went into the dealer ready to buy a new 1000 s rzr two days later left with a 1000 highlifter sportsman. Done my home work before hand and I must say everything I have read and research didn't prepare me to recieve what I got.
I have honestly in all my life never been more disappointed with anything I have done with my money... For starters the bike will go threw anything ! Or most anything, I did manage to get it stuck tonight.
the bike has a 50 mph govener witch I did not know and honestly researched top speed and ask the dealer and could only find out extremely little an found out after I bought the the bike I must have been lookin at rzr stuff because I was expecting 80 mph... my bad right. The dealer couldn't even answer me this.. Big rubber small gears, should be some what normal right ? I knew it be a bit slower with the gear reduction but deffinatly didnt expect 50 mph. is what it is, that one was on me..
Alright secondly I knew the bike would have a big turn radius, I knew the shocks were stiff. I bought the bike thinking it was a walk ot of the door ready to go bad ass machine. Witch I guess in one way it is. But it's certainly not for me.
I love the mud, I love noise and anything obnoxious, I'll remind you I'm 25.. I honestly hate this machine, huge Polaris man, would trade it in tomorrow after one solid ride if I wouldn't loose my shirt.
I was a little sore be for tonight, after 3 hours on that huge hulk like monster I am pounded to pieces. The bike has absolutely no trail driveablitly. It's heavy and gutless, at midge range an above. the power steering feels heavy and a small rock will rip the bars from your hand, super unpredictable, super tippy, handles like a dump truck. Every time you hit a "bump" the bike wants to buck you off like an angry bull, we found some mud, I threw roosters 30 feet an drove were no one could. the clutch felt soft and the tires just wanna dig you into China. Was accutly fun there for a moment.
For a 1000 I feel like I have a peddle bike. yes it has a ton of yank from go until you smash the chip instantly and run at 48 mph. Even in low awd in seriouse mud the bike was very disapointing for power imo. I had my own old 850 out run me all night. made this machine look like a joke. There was 3 times my old machine had troubles getting threw a rough spot that I crawled threw and made look all to easy because it accutly was. The other 90 % of the time we were not in very serious mud the old 850 was far superior.
Final thoughts.. perfect mud bog machine. Perfect bike if you want to live in a mud bog. Absolutely useless for anything else. Super stiff, super rough, super tippy, super unstable, super gutless, supper disaponted with my 1000 that goes 50 mph.
My two cents worth..

fluid question
Hey
first post.
just bought a 2006 polaris sportsman 500 EFI, not sure when the fluids last changed.
so was wondering tomorrow Im off so I may have time to change the oil and other fluids but I don't have a polaris dealer near me to pick up the following
front and rear gear boxes and the transmission area. would canadian tire have these suitable for this machine or find dealer. also I need to change the sparkplug and the plug wire, would it be possible to get a plug and wire from also canadian tire if so any specific one. I've done this kinda work on my previous bikes and cars but it's been along time so
what are you guys using for fluids and such in your machines besides going to a dealer.
I also need to change the fuel filter but no dealer again so thoughts?
thanks for any help.
Glenn.

Alpine Flex Mount with Can Am Plastic Skids
Does anyone have the Alpine Flex plow mount installed over the Can Am accessory plastic skids?
