2002 700 twin regulator
I got a 700 that wont charge. I checked the regulator and could not see the diodes from negative to yellow. So bad regulator. I was having a hard time trying to find a reasonably priced replacement so I got a cheap 20 one that was for a 500 thinking that diodes are diodes. It burnt out right away. Not knowing why (thinking it might have just been a bad reg)I got another. Tested everything before installing. Ohmed the winding .1 ohm and checked the voltage at idol 24vac. Looked good. Che led the new reg for no shorts and that the diodes were good. Connected the 2 yellows and bumped it to make sure polarity was good. Then connected and had fluke on battery. Started and saw the voltage start going up. Got up to 14.2v then dropped to 12.2v. Burnt another reg. I'm going to buy the proper reg I guess. The question I have is what is different in these regs? Are the diodes rated at different voltages? At idol the stator only puts out 24vac. I'm stumped as to why the cheap stators didnt work. Unless they were just shit. Anyway anyone know about the internals of regulators. Thanks in advanced for any info
Clutch and Belt Advice
This is the first time I’ve owned a quad with A belt drive. Going thru everything before I hit riding season. Replacing the belt (need a spare anyway) and trying to confirm if the driving clutch face is ok. 600 miles on this 2015 850 touring. The driven clutch is perfectly smooth. The driving clutch had a small groove near the bottom. I can barely feel it so I’m going to guess .005” inch max. Belt seems ok but not 100% sure since I’ve never really seen a used one. While belt appears a little smoother/shinier than the old one but no worn or dishes areas. Can’t seem to post a pic. Any advice?
2015 can am outlanderL injector help
Hey guys, I'm new to the forums. I did some searches for tips to remove the fuel injectors on the outlander. I have the ATV torn down a fair amount. The plastic is terrible and there had been mud in the gas tank previously. It runs incredibly rough and has no power. I'm hoping it's just the fuel injectors. I have the screws out of both injectors but haven't removed them yet. Anyone have any tips on removal and reinstallation of the new ones? I'd hate to damage the injectors while putting them back in. There was a guy on here who had posted a video showing how he put the injectors in but I could not get it to play.
Please help with good advice
I have an 04 Predator 500 n I was hoping for the steps I need to take to take my 3/4 full gas tank off

any thoughts on this issue. maybe the wrong belt?

Adoption
Can't hold this in any longer..
My fiance and I are going to be parents again. We have been fostering a little girl since last May, and we got official word, on short notice, that we are adopting our little foster baby on 3/26.
This is our first foster child, and our first adoption as well. So we are nervous but super excited because we can FINALLY post photos of her, talk about her, and not have to worry about covering her face before posting on facebook. We are changing her name with the adoption (she is only 2) to help make it a little more real.
Sorry just had to brag and gloat a little :)
