Hello all,
My 1996 sportsman 400 (2 stroke) perfectly maintained and never a problem.
I pulled my dipstick from the trany this weekend and the fluid poured out on the ground for 5 seconds. About 2-4 ounces total came out. Fluid was clean and purple. no water clouding. Smelled a little like gas though. Possible that I over filled it last year but I doubt it. What can cause this. There is no fluid that flows to this transmission tank, right?
There is no water in it by inspection.
Any thoughts??

For those that have done rvs reflash what are you doing to modify intake when you do the stage 3 flash for aftermarket exhaust and modified intakes ?

Working on a friends a scrambler. Hasn't fun for years.threw one of my charged battery outta one of my predators 500. So the igentio switch. Is missing the wiring harness clip. So each wire was been wired on the pins of the switch. Not in the rigbt order. Dose anyone have a wiring diagram. In Much need!

Does a 2008 polaris sportsman 500 have a starter relay?

I have a 2014 polaris sportsman 570 that will not start with the key but u can jump the solenoid and it will run with no problems have tried a new solenoid, a new key switch and have test all of the wiring that I can think of that has to do with it starting anyone have any other tries thanks

New belt, clean pulleys and weights.
Anytime I try to roll this ATV the rear transmission pulley (secondary) spins which makes the belt drag on the motor’s pulley (primary?). That drag make the rear wheels not spin freely.
It happened with the old belt too. I don’t know the history of this quad. I don’t see that there is a disconnect or shifter anywhere.

Hello all, my 2005 Sportmans 500 HO was dead, none of the electronics worked, no head lights, gauge console, starter-NOTHING! I tested the battery it had 12 Volts but no amps. I replaced the battery and when I installed the new battery the fan runs with the kill switch in the off position and the ignition is also off. When I put the key in the ignition and turn it to start, the starter turns but doesn’t engage. Also the gauge console and headlights don’t work when the key is in the accs or start position. I replaced all the electrical connections about 4 years ago due to corrosion. Wondering if anyone else has had the same problems and what solutions you came up with. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Wondering if the 850 xt and xt-p 6 in lift kits from super atv will fit my 850 xmr. Not sure if there are any fitment issues.
There web site is showing fitment for 850 xt xt-p 2016 and up. Shouldn't it be the second for xmr
