Won’t Stay Running…fuel issue?

Out riding this weekend and my wife was on her 2015 Sportsman 570 EPS. We had hit some pretty aggressive trails and were on the main road back to camp. Just cruising in low. She said the throttle started acting weird and unresponsive, then killed.

It was a little warm, but no codes. Opened the gas lid and quite a bit of pressure came out. Towed back to camp.

The gas was a bit old (8-9 months). Drained all the gas by pulling the fuel line and turning key (priming). Added new gas. It fired right up but was sluggish and kept missing as I was trying to run it. Pulled spark plug (NGK MR7F) and cleaned it up. It started running a little bit better, but still not 100%.

I'm about to go search town for a new NGK plug but I'm also aware of the fuel pump issue. I hope it's not that. Has anyone had just a fouled plug or bad gas do this? Or is it 99% of the time a bad fuel pump?

Thanks!

2015 Outlander 650 temp sensor

Anybody ever cross reference a temp sensor OEM# 278 002 895?

I found saying Bosch 0281002209 or Zexel 479799-3520 but haven't found an auto parts store that has these numbers

Any help would be greatly appreciative!

Front drive shaft removal XP1000

Serviced my 2017 1000 and discovered that the front U-joint on the front drive shaft is junk. The 1000 has 840 miles on it and I am disappointed to find the bad u-joint.

My question is, to remove the drive shaft is it as easy as knocking out the roll pin on the front pinion and then sliding the shaft towards the rear enough to get the front yoke off of the shaft?

Thanks in advance, that is what it looks like to me. I have had several Polaris machines and this is the first U-joint that has failed.

1995 trail boss head gasket blew my trusty mechanic will be doing the repair I’m looking online for replacement parts but not exactly sure what to look for when it comes to companies descriptions on what my package will or should consist of. I’m not sure if that makes sense I just want to make sure I get the right part

What are these wires for?

About a year ago I smelled smoke from under the seat of my 2010 Outlander 800R. A triple connector connecting three heavy yellow wires was melting. One side of the connector could not be saved so I cut off the remains and put three separate connectors on to replace that side. Now a year later it is smoking and melting again after the engine has been running for a few minutes. I have the circuit diagram but I can't be sure what the three wires are and if they should be drawing such heavy current. Can anyone tell be what these wire are for?
Ignore the battery below the connector in the picture. I had trouble finding a small battery to replace the original so I made a new bracket in the empty space below the engine and fitted a small car battery. It is much more convenient to access it.
