Light bar

Looking for ideas or examples on where to mount a led light bar on my base 570. I don't have a push bumper and wasn't really planning on getting one unless I liked something I see. Also don't really want to mount it up on the front storage lid like I've seen some do, any input would be helpful thanks!

2014 Sportsman 400 Upgrades

So I just put 26” tires and new wheels on my 2014 sportsman 400 and now it’s really sluggish. What can I do to regain some of the lost power? I know a clutch kit is a must if I can find one, but what else?

Lots of oil in airbox of 2013 500HO

:cryingOK... my machine just started sputtering and smoking... the air filter was saturated with oil and airbox had a LOT of oil in it. Removal of filter cured sputter. When I remove the filter and top the oil up in the resevoir, it pumps a lot of oil through the left vent hose into the airbox, the level of oil in resevoir drops quickly and doesn't seem to return. Help! Really weird. Anyoine have this happen before? I get 110lbs of compression doing a compression test.

2007 Sportsman 500 X2 Charging issues

Hello. I am working on a sportsman 500 for a friend and he said the battery is dead always. So I tested the voltages. It is 11.8 with the quad off. When I start the engine it is only 11.9. I figured the stater is shot. I have tested the 3 yellow wires together and got .4 ohms but when I test the brown wire on the plug to the yellow wires I get .1 ohm. I am assuming the brown is a ground and it should not have any ohms? It should be a open circuit? Any help would be helpful thanks

exhaust gets loud sometimes

I have a 07 I think sportsman 500 EFI ho. When riding last weekend I would hit a big water hole and the exhaust would suddenly be alot louder up front. Then after a minute or two it usually goes back to being quiet.

When it happens it's not loud at idle just when I get on the throttle..

I've stopped and looked at it and saw nothing out of place. I'm wondering if the front donut type joint with springs on it is separating a little??

Has anyone experienced this? And what would you do to fix it? Replace donut and springs maybe? Idk
Thanks

85 trailboss front struts

Hi All! I have a 1985 250 trailboss. I am looking to repair or replace the front struts but can’t seem to find any nos or even some used ones. I am searching. Part number 1843004 with no luck. Any help with updated part numbers or source for parts would be a great help . I did find a pair of 1843010 but they only have one bolt instead of 2 but not sure if it may work.
Thanks in advance for any help :)
