Rear Brakes Weak

Hello,

I just finished changing the brake pads on my 2012 Renegade 1000 XXC. I notice my rear brakes don't brake very well, i.e. won't lock up like the fronts. Basically the rear brake just gradually slows the bike down and doesn't bite like the front. The lever isn't squishy, there is resistance. When the bike is jacked up and the wheels are in motion, the brakes do stop the tires, they just don't seem to be very strong when under load. I can't recall if this is the same braking power as before I swapped the brake pads or not, since I just assumed the pads were low and needed replacing.. This may just be a coincidence.

Thanks,

Engine knock

Just want to know if this is “normal” or should I be concerned and have it looked at. My 850 sportsman has about 15 hours on it. Since new sometimes on cold starts It has what I call a hard piston slam when it fires up, a big clank, performed the first oil change this weekend, 5w50 and new filter, checked the oil today and it was perfect, cranked it and got the harshest engine clank yet when it fired up. Never does this when it’s been warned up, and doesn’t continue after Initial cold start, always Doesn’t seem good for the machine. Anyone else experience this?

squealing noise

I bought my first ATV a couple weeks ago "2016 canam Outlander 850 xt" and been wondering since then if this sound was normal.
i tried to upload the video but it was invalid.

sound like a steady whining noise

Sticky relay ?

Here's the scenario .
2010 Rene 500

Bike has NEVER overheated . Even when it's hot out .
Yesterday it did and went into LIMP MODE
Fan wasn't running and I saw a little coolant on the bottom front of the frame .
Got her home
Hosed her off and filled radiator with water to check the water pump .
All good , coolant circulating .
Put 12 volts to the fan at the weathertite plug .
Fan runs .
With bike running and lights on I swap relays .
Take out accessory relay , lights go off . ( still running and key turned to lights )
Put fan's relay in the slot , no lights .
Put accessory relay into fan slot and wait for fan to come on .
Fan kicks on .
Swap relays again .
Fan working now with original relay .
And lights work now too .

What's up here ?
Ever heard of this ?

Thanks for reading .

best intake set up?

My 03 trailblazer has minimal mods, just a pipe and some reeds with a K&N filter (which apparently is not so good). My question is whats the best air delivery set up. sometimes the stock airbox is the best route to go depending on mods. I want to eventually get a bigger carb, but I dont think much more than that. For now though should I keep what I have? Its the stock airbox with the "snorkel" tube thing on top. should I remove the snorkel? just get a cone or foam style that clamps onto the carb? my house where i do almost all of my riding is at about 7200 ft altitude too. Ill never ride it below 5000 alt.

2018 outlander XMR 850

so I've decided im going to purchase a new xmr in the next couple of weeks. I'm gonna order it with the snorkel extension, fender flares, rear hitch and slip on exhaust, wondering if I should order the skid plates as well or anything else? I will be getting a tuner after i buy the machine. I will be only riding mud and snow. thanks
